There will be a rather somber mood in treestands throughout Erie County this week. Except for the buck and doe. It'll be business as usual.

For 3 quarters Huron was Out Coached & Out played. Especially blowing a 1st and goal, with a Turnover on downs in the 1st half. Then Clyde drives 99 1/2 yards to go up 14-0. No way could this Tiger team be in that High School Nat'l Playoff. Overall it was a good season for our Tigers, Best of luck to Clyde, Win another Championship for area, Please. Huron should be on the phone with St.Paul for next Saturday night down there, And call Perkins to come here after that, To end a great season. Not sure where the “our tigers” comes from. Mark May has always been a tiger hater and should be dis owned by the tiger community. As for the out coached, Clyde had a good game plan by using their size to their advantage. You can’t teach size so I wouldn’t call it out coached. Both teams played a great ball game and best of luck to the fliers

I'm sure Shelby was rooting for Huron to win.

I'm sure Shelby was rooting for Huron to win. Perhaps. But, I would like to think since Clyde eliminated Shelby last year, Whippets would want a crack at the Fliers.

That is actually quite meaningless. Coaches will never say it publicly, but they have a preference for the team they think the match ups favor them.

Tough loss for the tigers in what was a very surprising upset. Hats off to the Clyde Fliers they run a good clean program over there. I still think Huron is one of the best football teams in the country. I hope Huron is able to retain offensive line and kicking coach Jake Strayer as he will almost certainly get some interviews for head coaching positions both at the high school, collegiate, and pro level.
Its very disappointing to see people like known tiger hater Mark May on here running their trap about the tigers spreading negativity. At this point I think it’s safe to consider Mark May the Benedict Arnold of Huron. Mark is almost as delusional as Joe Biden supporter Willard Fillmore.
Last if anybody needs a guide for a duck hunting trip let me know I may have a few recommendations.
