Looking forward to this game. I always wondered why Ashland and Norwalk haven't played more?

Ashland leads Norwalk 14-7 in the 2q after a long rain delay. Norwalk should be up by about 3 scores. So far Norwalk has 2 fumbles lost, one on the opening squib kick off and one on a scoop and score. Norwalk has also had a punt return TD called back for a hold and a pick 6 called back because of a hold. Fox's teams must have a rule that they need to hold/clip on every INT or punt. It seems like it has happened every week for 3 years. Garrison Smith has also missed a 42 yard fg. He never misses!

Sometimes, calls are subjective

It is MUCH MUCH more likely that a coach is teaching to hold or clip on INT and or punt than different officiating crews over a 3 year period purposely throwing flags on poor Norwalk in those situations.

First off I will say this - Norwalk gave this game away with mistakes. They had control of the game in just about every way minus their own mistakes and penalties. NEVER put a game into a position where officials can make the difference. Now with that all said - the "block in the back" on the Pick Six was a joke. Ashland player trips on his own feet with a Norwalk player 2-3 yards away about 20 yards behind the play and they call that on Norwalk which negates the TD. That was pretty sad as the Norwalk player wasn't even running in the same direction as the Ashland player that tripped. I've watched it on Huddle and OH Report multiple times. Disappointing. But again Norwalk still had every ability to win the game and made too many mistakes imo.
