I doubt they let anyone go to scrimmages. Only parents will be allowed at games.

In the same post, Upper Sandusky said there would be no limited for that home scrimmage, but the others would be up to the host school's discretion. Let's face it, there's like 25 people in the stands at scrimmages. I doubt it'll be at capacity for that home scrimmage against Adena and Huron.

For what it's worth, Upper's first two girls scrimmages @ Hopewell-Loudon and Buckeye Valley will be closed to spectators.

It's more like 100 at a 4 team scrimmage at the O'rena. With the only seating in the upper deck on the side of the facility that has the team video and TV broadcasting booth.

To make it easier, some host schools may not allow spectators so they can avoid potential issues. Even if allowed the gyms will have a minimum amount in them.

SO...does this mean that Upper will only have one week of practice before their first game with Willard?

state is about to mandate another shutdown, probably no activities until 2021.

state is about to mandate another shutdown, probably no activities until 2021. A mandate for what schools? There are already plenty that are shut down, I don't see them issuing a full shut down again. Each school can decide what they want to do.

People will not accept a total shutdown again. Specially now that we have a vaccine with 90% results.

The next month is going to be telling, according to Husted. If we can't see some improvement in the right direction then more drastic measures will be instituted. I believe they are setting the groundwork for a delay during the holidays. Hope I'm wrong. They always shown their hand before making the moves. That is of course unless things improve, which seem unlikely in rural Ohio.

They don't want to shut down sports, but if things don't improve in a short time frame, that remains on the table.

By Jan 4th those over 65 and people with extenuating health issues will be vaccinated. Over 99% of the balance of society that test positive do not get very sick. Thus after the first of the year the OHSAA should be allowing open attendance at winter sports, unless they want to make another political statement

Seeing scrimmages being canceled but I keep hearing it is not directly because of positive tests it is because of the contact tracing methods. Schools are closing or going remote because of the large number of healthy people quarantining.

Its all the people around them, full classrooms that have to be sent home for 14 days, or families and so on. Its getting out of hand. If your sick stay home, if your not let them live.
