The two teams that most picked to be at the top of the OCC meet this week. Thoughts? Wooster is on a roll but Ashland always brings their "A" game against Wooster.

I will say this, as and Ashland fan the Arrows need this win. They have started to put some things together and have done a really nice job on offense making up for Denbow being out with an injury. Junior Qb Keagan Armitage has stepped in and done a very good job of leading. Saying all of that, I don't see a way Ashland keeps this within 14 points. Unless Wooster doesn't come to play the Arrows will have their hands full on defense. They have had trouble stopping the pass, and with speed on the outside, all of which Wooster has. I'm hoping for a good game, but I have been on record already this year stating this is the best Wooster team I have seen, and I don't see anyone in the OCC stopping them.

I think you are correct in many ways that Wooster may be the team that is levels above the rest of the OCC.

gt, I have only seen video clips of them but they look to be very good in all areas of the team. I hope to get a chance to see them this season.

As I said, Ashland always brings their A game against wooster. Wooster had plenty of opportunities to put this away. Two touchdowns called back for penalties. Hand it to Ashland. They hung in there and made the most of thier opportunities. Their Qb played very well

IS it still their back-up QB?

Yes Scooter, it was their backup QB. Looks like Ashland will have a decision to make if and when Denbow is healthy. I personally think this kid is a bit more dynamic.

Sounds like it. I have heard valentine is big on loyalty to his players that commit to him but sometimes the younger guy can be the right choice.
