It should come down to Western Reserve and St. Paul. I think both teams returning four of their five starters.

I think the Reflector/ Register Basketball Pre-season issue comes out next Monday the 30th I believe. I would think WR would be the favorite with 4 starters back, Rowlinson, Skrada, Hipp, & Meunz & supporting cast. I believe SP has only 3 starters back, Winslow x 2, & Adelman. Not sure what they have behind those 3. I think they graduated Furlong and Shephard. It will be interesting to see what SC has after losing older Blair & older Seidel They have Lameroux, younger Seidal & younger Blair, along McCormick back. Monroeville has Roeder back, but not sure what comes with him. Plymouth lost Elliott, so he may be hard to replace, but have Beebe back I think. New London has Heileman & Arnold back. Really don't know much about Crestview (new old coach) and Mapleton and what they may bring to the table. It will definitely be interesting. Hoping and praying all of these teams can get their season in, especially for the seniors. Be cool to hear some additional feedback from others.

Ya for me It’s definitely gonna be between Western and St. Paul. This could be the best team Sheldon has ever had so I think it will be tough for SP to overcome them but I think they are the only team in the Conf that can compete. SC will probably come in 3rd they have 4 good returners and a good coach that could get them far. New London shoulda been up here been Arnold tore up his knee and unfortunately is out for the season. Monroeville has Roeder, Schafer, and 2 decent sophomore, it will be interesting to see how they will do. Plymouth has Miller, Goth, and Beebe back but it will be interesting to see the leadership since I think Elliot took a lot of that role. Mapleton has a nice player in Sloter back but not much else. Crestview got a really good hire and they have Hamilton and 2 other decent kids that I know of that are coming back so I would love to see them do good. Should be a fun season. Hopefully it all gets played out !

The flyers and the riders obviously are the two top dogs. Some teams like NL, Monroeville, and South Central have a shot at upsetting one of these teams but it might take a miracle. Both WR and SP have very a good trio of players and very solid pieces around them. The first game between the Roughriders and the Flyers will take place Friday December 18. Very well could be changed due to Covid-19.
