I picked Norwalk mainly as a Homer, but Columbian looks formidable as well.

Without a doubt, Tiffin is on a different level than everybody else in the SBC Lake. Norwalk, Clyde, Bellevue and Sandusky are very distant 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.....in no particular order. Perkins and Vermilion will round out the bottom.

Norwalk falls to Ashland tonight 82-51. Norwalk REALLY looked slow compared to Ashland. Quickness and good shooting usually trumps size.

Just watched on BCSN Margaretta beat Bellevue 60-55 in an Overtime thriller. I noticed what a Joke the required mask wearing is. Everyone fumbling with them, Not wearing them properly, Under the nose, Down on the neck, Or not on at all. It's a joke.

Just watched on BCSN Margaretta beat Bellevue 60-55 in an Overtime thriller. Bellevue led, 21-15 after one quarter and 35-27 at halftime. Bellevue only scored more than 55 points in a game three times last year. Encouraging start for the Redmen.

Losing to a smaller, mediocre Margaretta team (who looked confused against a good WR team) is not my idea of encouraging.

I mean, they were 4-19 last year and could barely hit 40 points a night. To go on the road and play pretty well, but ultimately fall in overtime is better than losing 76-37. That mediocre Margaretta team very well should finish in top half of Bay.

Throw dirt on Norwalk just like last year when they thrashed by Willard (a team that exited the tourney before they did) and then beaten badly at home by Sandusky (a team they beat at their house a month or so later)... They will be back matchups and Covid had a lot to do with the Ashland score but just like last year when they were slightly above .500 at the mid mark of the season and a month later they were seconds away from a regional appearance

I was giving high praise to Tiffin. Talent wise, they are better than everybody else. I think you'll be convinced by mid season.

I like Perwalk's thinking, but I'm still going to proceed with caution. I'm sure Coach Foster will be able to work some energy into this Norwalk group like he has in the past. They are not dead and gone.

I think COVID is bringing home the title in the Lake this year. But if Sandusky has anything to say about it I think they’ll have a shot at the title. There’s always unexpected talent coming out of Hayes Ave and I’m sure this year won’t be any different. Look for the streaks to shock the lake division this year.

I don't think Sandusky will win the conference, but I think they have the ability to beat everyone in the conference (with maybe exception to Tiffin). The lack of experience on their squad will cost them some games. They only have two seniors, and only one of those seniors has varsity experience if the Register preview was correct. I like the young Sophomore who played Varsity for them last year. He could be one of the surprises in the conference this year. Kid is smooth.

Norwalk and Fremont Ross will meet on the court this season When?, and who's off the schedule for either/or unless both scheduled under 22 games? Well Ross had a bunch of openings, presumably because of having so many Lucas County opponents.
