Chapin is a darn good athlete. It seemed to be part of the reason Ross pulled away when he sat with foul trouble. Little Giants did lead by 17 at one point.

I would like to know the source Coach Cahill and our resident Sports Writer used for the lag in Norwalk-Ross series?
If answer is Crawford County Basketball, kudos!

Nope it was the boys score. Vermilion wins at Ross, 65-59, after beating Oak Harbor in their opener last night, 62-45.

When you are led by a kid who cans 30 points, you're going to be in good hands. Vermilion never got rattled, even when Ross kept pulling within one or two.

Huron 55, Norwalk 36
Norwalk didn't look like they were at all interested/excited about playing Huron. Does Gray have THE Virus? He wasn't at the game.

Wow is right VERY surprising Norwalk was up 5 at half then gave up a 22-5 quarter. Norwalk attempted to double the ball at times in the third and that opened up some of Huron's shooters which took shots that they didn't really miss. Norwalk horrible shooting in the game, seemed to be an off night for just about the entire roster during the Varsity game. Team is missing some heart right now. A few of the players have it but they are currently lacking that through the entire roster. Steve Gray did not coach this game and was not in attendance. Undisclosed reasons.

After reading Gray's comments in the paper the other day (vs Perkins I think) about trying to double team and trap, I'm surprised they did it again. He said "its not us" and it hurt them in the game. I hope the Trucker's shooting woes continue for another game.

Does anyone remember me opining about leadership? If you are looking for leadership you came to the right place. There are plenty on this site that will tell you what to do and how to think.
