It’s working for the Lake. Definitely the calmest waters in that division. A lot more depth too. 😜 nice play with words. Kudos!

Going to be a busy spring for NW Ohio ADs this year. How about this 8 team league as in idea.
Oak Harbor Port Clinton Huron Edison Margaretta Willard Vermilion Perkins

I'd say if that happens, you could see some dissention in the Lake with Bellevue, Clyde, and Perkins looking elsewhere or the league not being as stable as it is now

Not quite the Little Giant homer I once was, but still take interest.

There’s no really big schools and they play all those schools in different sports now. Also don’t they start this coming up football season with Vermilion?

How about talking about if Oak Harbor is leaving or not instead of coming up with leagues that will never happen

there is always an elsewhere, change is a constant in life Can't fathom a current elsewhere geographically between Oak Harbor and Vermillion. Now if those 3 are interested in playing near Toledo and Cleveland or in Marion or Richland country?

How about talking about if Oak Harbor is leaving or not instead of coming up with leagues that will never happen oh now Hoss, whats the fun in that? however, if OH leaves, does anyone else leave, because then you might be talking a major shakeup with league structure... so my friend, you very may well speculate, isnt that what some of the purpose of the forum is?

How about talking about if Oak Harbor is leaving or not instead of coming up with leagues that will never happen also, Kingmartinez seemed to have the inside track on the OH stuff, so he may know if there have been any recent developments

Elmwood and Woodmore out of NBC....Oak Harbor and Port Clinton join NBC Anyone heard that? PC is in a good spot. Only other Bay team that would have the propensity to leave is Vermilion. Which is why OH likely not gunna go because the Bay remains a stable league for them if they stay, where the NBC may not provide such stability. I'd say none of the stuff you hear from Strack and others in NW Ohio will trickle into the SBC unless its the River division is my guess

The “new SBC”.
Oak Harbor Port Clinton Margaretta Willard Huron Edison Perkins Vermilion
The “new NOL”.
Fremont Ross Sandusky TC Bellevue Clyde Norwalk
I think that looks like two solid leagues and travel and competitiveness wouldn’t be an issue for either of them.

Bellevue and Clyde would have it made in the shade as far as travel. But, as Keith has often stated, those 2 are the biggest culprits regarding Ross.

So having Sandusky and Norwalk and TC in their league is cool but no way to Fremont Ross?
Now I see how leagues blow up and schools are left without a home. No one wants to be proactive and get out in front before you know what hits the fan.

No one wants to be proactive and get out in front before you know what hits the fan. Regarding your 1st sentence, it hasn't made much sense to me, either. For many years, TC was exceptionally larger than many NOL schools. When Sandusky joined the NOL, being Div II Football/Div I Basketball was the mode number.

Margaretta would have no part of that 'New" SBC. They dropped their best, and historic rival Huron, a few years back. They claimed they were to small for the Bay, In football.

If Margaretta wanted stability then they’d do it. It’d be much easier to fill out a schedule with an 8 team league. I think Margaretta could hang with some of those teams in most years. Huron, Oak Harbor and Perkins have seen their best years come and go long ago. Margaretta would be competitive in that league.
