Bellevue will now move to the Regionals and will face Napoleon. Napoleon defeated Bryan 40-28 i was watching that Napoleon Bryan game on bcsn...Physical! very physical.. 14-13 bryan lead at halftime.. it wasn't until about the 5 minute mark of the final quarter that Napoleon started to make their move.. They're good, but beatable.. should be a good matchup..

Congrats Lady Red!
Also congrats to Cory Santoro for joining her sisters in the 2,000 point club last night. While she'll end up in 3rd on that scoring list, she'll be the only one of the three that can boast 3 district championships.

Napoleon is beatable but I don’t believe Bellevue has enough fire power. Stud player from Napoleon will be matched up against stud from Bellevue. If Napoleon can’t contain her they stand a chance. They switch up defenses and try to keep throwing bodies in but I don’t think they have the same depth as last year. I’ll go Napoleon by double digits. Napoleon -11.5

Napoleon by 26. Just had a bad game. Got the bad out. Bellevue not deep enough. Don’t even have 5 to compete w Napoleon starters. Bellevue’s strength has been their press. Not gonna bother Napoleon. They shoot lights out. Very very good offense. Very good D as well. Good luck Napoleon.

Must be a parent of someone who could never beat Bellevue This will a solid game, basketball is a game of runs and it's all about who makes the last run. This game will go down to the wire, Napoleon has 5 girls that play constantly just like Bellevue. We will see who the more in shape team is. It takes one bad shooting night during tournament time to knock a team off. It will come down to which teams best player is going to be more dominant tonight. Best of luck to both teams, this will be a high quality basketball game with very good coaching. Excited to what each team brings to the table tonight.

They are not a typical sbc lake team. Near loses to multiple lake teams this year is a issue for the red men. Meanwhile Napoleon is playing a top notch schedule.

While 26 may be a bit much - I do like Napoleon by 12+. Wildcats are battled tested (such a brutal schedule this year - good for them) and have been here before.

Not underestimating Napoleon, just know It is tournament time and the play of basketball is elevated. Napoleon is a solid basketball team, as is Bellevue.
Bellevue isn't a 'typical' SBC team either, as they have ran through that league for years with 50+ league wins in a row. Two of Bellevue's L's come to Division 1 teams, that were high quality teams. So, that will actually help them learn how to play in tight games.
Thankfully they are free streaming this game online tonight to be able to watch. Best of luck to both teams, give us some good basketball to watch.

Best of luck to both teams, give us some good basketball to watch. First off, the lake is weak. Second they had at least 3 close games so they didn’t “run” away with nothing. Third, Napoleon won the conference with good d1 teams. One of those beat Bellevue. Forth if Bellevue were in the bay they would finish in third place.

Shelby made a nice comeback in the second half and Baker had a great look at a three to take the lead late but missed. Biggest difference between these two programs is the intensity with which they play. Bellevue plays tough, physical ball and is constantly digging for the ball. Shelby just plays too passively. Still a good game. As a Shelby fan it will be nice next year to finally play a Bellevue team without a Santoro. Awesome players who we have consistently struggled with. Best of luck in regionals. Well, actually Shelby has been lucky to not face a santoro. Willard has knocked Shelby out of the tourney 3 of the last 4 years. Would’ve been 4. And last year when Shelby played Bellevue Casey was out. Shelby has only faced Bellevue once in the tourney the last 4 years. Shelby has it made next year. No Willard Margaretta or santoro in the district.

You already know how the District will play out next year?? Why are you wasting your time on here? I'd be in Vegas if I could see into the future.

Shelby loses a lot. No pipe line in Margaretta, Willard or Bellevue? Which coaches will do the most with the players on their roster next year?

Shelby returns top 3 players. Margaretta is in d3 and so is Willard. But marg will be a handful. Bellevue returning two key starters but losing big dog. Maybe a team like vermillion can compete?

Margaretta will be very good next year. They only lose Elliana Schaefer as far as big-name seniors. Kylie Leibacher, Eden Palomo, Devyne Eisenhauer, Jaelle Keller, and Lilly Edwards all back, among others. I believe Margaretta JV team was very good and middle school won a lot too.

I was reminded by a relative in Napoleon that their girls team lost all 5 of their starters from last year. Look at them this year, 20-1 and #2 in Ohio in DII. Why can't other coaches do that?

That’s not true. Had at least 3 back for sure. Basically the top 3 started against Willard in the regional finals last year.

Got anyone else in mind that is basically returning everyone? Perkins. Only 1 Senior. Lost a lot of close games, which I’m sure had to do with a lot with their youth. Had 3 of their top 6 players out the entire year with injuries, started a couple freshmen and sophomores, plus their incoming freshman class is loaded

That’s probably true. They went about 10 deep last year. Great coach and fan base. I’ve never seen so many fans at a girls game last year. In their regional semi final game last year they filled up at least the whole half of the onu gymnasium and at the Mansfield regional, it was standing room only.

Not the 26 I predicted. But throw in 8 easy shots or even hit the 3 like they normally do. Could of been more. But a whipping is a whipping. Napoleon stay calm. Trust the offense. Which I love the offense. No one ever standing around. Bodies moving/ screens on ball. Off ball. Kinda like old school rec ball. Great job Napoleon.
Oh I wish the Willard Bellevue game would of happened.
Let’s Go LFB!!!! David/Goliath
