Looks like Drone Boy will be signing with Dodger Blue. The reigning NL Cy Young winner agrees to 3years, $102 million. For the record, Bauer is from the area, and went to school at UCLA.

Looking like JT will remain a Dodger, 2 years, $34 million. He had been pushing for 4 years, but nevertheless, great to see this deal done.
I know some want to puke, but this puts up payroll just north of $250 million. Hey, we like rewarding our players especially when clutch in Postseason.

Some covid related rule changes from 2020 that will continue in 2021:
- 7 inning double headers - automatic runner at 2nd to start extra innings - 26 man rosters
still undecided, but not likely to return:
- universal DH - expanded playoffs
(these could potentially still happen if a deal is struck before opening day)

They are also going to take taxi squads on road trips as well.

Here's hoping I can get to Dodger Stadium this Summer. Likewise, for some of you to Progressive Field to watch the Tribe.

Heck in Ohio a 16 year old can get their shot now. I don't get it. Who and what is MLB protecting? The boogie man?

After starting 13-2 with an 8-game winning streak sandwiched in, Dodgers have lost 7 of 9.

Won 13 of 1st 15
Lost 15 of next 20
Won 12 of last 13

Here's hoping I can get to Dodger Stadium this Summer. Likewise, for some of you to Progressive Field to watch the Tribe. forgot to mention 2 of my children and I went to July 25 game against Rockies. Josiah Gray made his Major League debut but 3 days later was dealt with 3 others for Max Scherzer and Trea Turner. 1981 World Champion Dodgers were honored before the game

Well, the Giants have won 9 in a row, stand at 95-50 and own the tiebreaker over the Dodgers. That said, the final 17 games will seem like an eternity.

Dodgers could go .500 the rest of the way and still achieve 101 wins. Which still likely wouldn't be good enough to win the NL West. I can't complain, though. At the least, there's Wild Card. 1980 Orioles won exactly 100, and still finished 3 games behind the Evil Empire when Divisional Winners only achieved Postseason.

Dodgers back a game. First one to 104 wins will win NL West

I know most folks in Ohio don’t see many Giants games and that the ESPN blathering talk machines have rarely seen any either but , Brandon Crawford should be in the MVP conversation. He’s hitting .298 with 21 taters, 83 RBI’s, 10 steals and has an .889 OPS. He has also been a defensive human highlight reel (Google it). He’s been the best player on the best team all season. It’s a shame that one 100 win team will end up in a Wild Card game. Seed the post season!

Before 2nd Wildcard was added, a few were winning the World Series which seemingly lessened the importance of trying to win the Division. It's just a weird year when 2 best teams in MLB are fighting for Divisional supremacy. I guess for time being, I'm fine doing without seeding

With Dodgers dub last night, it sets up for dramatics today. Giants 1st pitch, 3:05p/12:05p, and Dodgers 3:10p/12:10p. Let the scoreboard watching begin at that time, Ha!
