Head Coach Ryan Teglovic has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is under going treatment. From an announcement on CC's football facebook page:
In the fall of 2008, the Colonel Crawford community was blessed to hire Ryan Teglovic as both an educator and the head football coach. Over the past 12 plus years, “Coach Teg,” as he is affectionately known, has made a lasting impact on thousands of students, motivating them to be the best they can be in the classroom. He has also brought years of success to the Eagles football program with his family approach to coaching. Now, Coach Teg is facing unprecedented health challenges, and in response, the Colonel Crawford family is being asked to give back. Two separate fundraisers have been started with the proceeds going to this outstanding role model, educator, and coach.
Please keep Coach Teg in your prayers.

One of the worst cancers to get. Some forms of pancreatic cancers are more slow growing than others is about the best news you can get. There are some new drugs on the horizon, so there is hope. I might suggest Trodelvy, if his insurance will pay for it. Prayers for coach and his family.

Coach Teg has been undergoing treatment the last few months to reduce the size of his tumor. Today he under went surgery to remove the tumor. The following update was posted by his wife on the CC Booster's facebook page. Praise the Lord!!!
Journal Entry by Lori Teglovic — 1 hour ago
First of all we want to give praise to our Heavenly Father for what I am about to share! Ryan is out of surgery and in recovery now. The surgeon was extremely pleased with how everything went. He did not think things would go as well or easy as they did. They were able to remove the tumor and not touch the veins that run through the pancreas which is a huge praise! Words cannot express the overwhelming love and support from all of you!! Thanks most of all for all of your prayers! We had a peace that was indescribable.

Coach Ryan Teglovic is stepping down as Colonel Crawford's Head Coach in order to focus on his battle with cancer. This is a blow not only to the CC football program, but the entire Colonel Crawford community. More than just a good football coach, "Coach Teg" is a great person, role model, educator, and an inspiration to all that know him. Please keep him in your prayers. May God bless Coach Teg.

I’m guessing mid forties. Still young. Just awful thing for anyone or any family to go through. Hope for the best for Ryan and his family.
