Nice design. I did hear it mentioned on the radio the other day that Clyde was replacing their turf, which is something like 13 years old.
Glad to see they are going with a blue endzone this time, as I never really liked the yellow letters on green turf look. Michigan did the same yellow on green to yellow on blue correction the last time they replaced their turf, and it looks a lot better now. These teams may be rivals, but I still have an desire for things to be aesthetically pleasing.

Clyde @ Toledo Scott? Is this game actually being played AT Scott? PC was slated to play at Bowsher this past year before the virus. I believe Vermillion played at Bowsher and Oak Harbor played at Woodward. I don’t see why it’s unusual?

Edison was scheduled for Woodward 2 years ago, and we saw what happened.
As Keith will remember, Ross was scheduled for Scott at their place for a Saturday afternoon game, 20 years ago. Then, Columbus Brookhaven (now defunct, but a power in football/basketball) was willing to go to Fremont for a Friday Night game, and it was bye bye Scott.

Then, Columbus Brookhaven (now defunct, but a power in football/basketball) was willing to go to Fremont for a Friday Night game, and it was bye bye Scott. I will go even further back. In the mid-70's the Ross Frosh team played at Scott. As the game was ending, Ross players were attacked by Scott fans, saved only by Scotts coaches and some parents. AD Dick Sherman vowed that Ross would never again play Scott. This was just a decade after the Ross-Scott varsity stopped playing in the final game of the season, as the two schools had a long and competitive rivalry. I lived in that neighborhood for over 10 years, just blocks from Scott High. It was a rough area then, and is worse now. I can't imagine a lot of Clyde fans are going to be jumping at the chance to go to a game there.

Also, a lot of the Toledo City League schools did not have football fields until just a few years ago. The Scott football coach is a good friend and a really good guy that is trying to turn that program around and build better men.

I like the meat grinder style schedule. Good playoffs points, and preparation for the post season. With a schedule like that they could even afford to drop a game or 2 and still make it.

I miss the days where SMCC was a good game and Huron was a showdown. Things have changed but I firmly believe the old SBC still has life in it.
