I heard Huron held its own at the big event at Sports Force two weeks ago. Went 18-6, losing to Liberty-Benton in the gold semifinals.

I heard Huron held its own at the big event at Sports Force two weeks ago. Went 18-6, losing to Liberty-Benton in the gold semifinals. Many girls were used during that week, Huron will still be very competitive this year once they finalize the right group of ladies. I see the lake being a battle between Perkins and Vermilion Bay, Huron, Margaretta fighting for the top spot, not really sure on Edison, haven’t seen them yet this year. River, TC |

There was the day when 2nd was a disappointment. Our expectations never change. Disappointment only happens when the effort is less than best... The SBC Bay is loaded and for the first time since Jimmy Carter was president Port Clinton is a threat to compete.. Margaretta has virtually entire team back. Edison loses a lot of back row but basically the same. Huron loses 4 college players and three other key players.. One starter returns for Huron... Well is not dry by a long shot, but its a new spring of water.. |

Huron landed one of the top rising sophomores in the state from St. Joseph's in Cleveland. 6'1 at age 15 with room to grow. Should be one of the best players in any SBC division. Not sure on the Danbury girl, as my sources at the Donut Shop have been unable to confirm this. Don will have the ladies ready to win another league championship. Go Tigers |
