Can't wait. Harder to make it to games tho with multiple a week, rather than football.

Any options? They may have to take a 1-year guy and do a bigger search next year due to the timing.

I'm hearing that BV could be down 3-4 players for up to half the season for an incident over homecoming weekend. Don't have any substantiation to this other than it comes from someone whose word I trust. Also, don't know who, just the overall number. If true, it could vastly affect the MOAC race and BV's chances to compete for a league title.

Gates, I'm now being told the punishment is 20% of the season. Do you concur?

I would pump the brakes on Marion Harding winning the league, I'm hearing 3 of the projected starters are NOT playing this year. Not happy that the coach is only concerned about one player.

This is the time when kids say stuff like that but when the day comes they realize they love their sport.

Those kids who got in trouble should just move over to Harding....or as they are known around the league "The no blood, no foul/punishment free zone."

Hardings RB had to miss a few games, but we won't get back into that. I might be only one who believes second chances lol but let's leave it at basketball talk

Even if those couple kids don't play Harding will compete for the moac ship. It's rather down this year. They'll finish top 3.

Basketball.... 4- I had Friends with a Kid on both Ridgedale-MH JV teams 3 years ago. And, then I watched Ridgedale Varsity(2 Fr, 2 Soph, Sr I believe started for Ridgedale) beat MH on(McComas for MH could play) their own court. Now those 2 Fr. starters from Ridgedale, have been Presidents, And done quite well the last 3 years on the Hardwood. It is a revolving door at MH also. Harding turning the corner, I think, in B-ball. They have a Great Coach. I will pick them as Conference Favorites. I would guess JA, BV would be there to contend?

JA without Pugh i think but will still content. With pleasant and probably bv, and yes I was at that Harding ridgedale game that year. Longstreth and mccomas were really good but that year was a really down year. The years after were winning seasons with seniors stepping up and ellis is really good. I believe starner isn't playing.

Can't beleive Starner won't play. Saw him at open gyms during summer. If he doesn't that will hurt them but still should be the fav in league.

Starner, Keller and Jefferson possibly not playing bball. Looks like some pups will need to step it up. HHS will become a one man band with Ellis. Outside of Sayre they will not have any help to put points on the board. Starner is getting some serious looks from MAC size D1 schools for football so that might be pushing him away from BBall.

Sounds like there is enough in flux for everyone right now that it really makes tabbing a preseason favorite difficult. While I would expect more than not among the "don't think they'll play" crowd to actually be suited up when the season begins, a lot of our early season favorites could be starting some very green, albeit talented, players early on. This could mean this year's title could come down to the simple issue of scheduling. If one team has to play some tough early league games before those players have a chance to develop, it could put them behind the 8-ball as far as the standings go. I've been trying to find a complete BV schedule, but the one from the school website only shows 14 games. Anyone have a link to complete schedules for all the teams? The MOAC site is still stuck on 15-16.

Eagles nest there is a couple good sophomores, elson can stroke it, browley is very good inside, if booker plays that's a help. They'll be fine.

He doesn't have the skills to play D1. If he didn't completely dominate the MOAC like Trey Pugh, Brad Harrah, Brad Martin he won't be able to play D1. Hell...it took Harrah 4 years to get any meaningful play time. Bryce is a good athlete...but he's not a D1 level athlete. He would be wise to look at a Wooster or Ohio Northern

Jedbartlet, I agree. IMO Hardings best College Prospect Football or B-ball next couple years would be Jefferson the Jr. WR. Small, but I think he has the hands to go with the speed. Although Brad Harrah went to University Cincinnatti and Lettered 3 years, I don't think he stood out at Pleasant. He was Double teamed all day though Lol. Martin was a nice Safety and TE at Pleasant at 235 lbs. And, I believe, He lettered 3 years, and played TE at 265 lbs, for Indiana as well.

Jefferson is a senior lol, he's gonna go to college for football or track. Don't think he's playing basketball anymore. Jason Ellis is Hardings athlete to watch rn in basketball. He's underrated in the state.

Jefferson didn't get much varsity time last year as a junior he started jv and played some varsity. Good shooter and very quick. But Hardings best player by far Ellis.

And I said, I believe MH best chance of a D1 or good D2 Athlete from Football or Basketball is Jefferson (and I would think Football) Ellis (basketball) I imagine he can flat out shoot. And if Healthy will be the Best or 1 of the best in the Conference in Bball. He is a Baller, but from what I saw in the past, not real Athletic or fast for a 6 footer or so. I will be Surprised if ANY Scholarship Bball players (D1 or Highly Recruited D2) coming out of the Conference this Year. Hempy had the size, length, and ups and he is at Wooster, And will probably do Very well.
