Harding led mid way through the 3rd. Lost 59-39. But what an effort. Northland is a power house. Ellis played really well despite 3 first half fouls. How many points did he have? I believe he was 13 away from 1000 Harding career points before the game.

He had 19, finished his harding career with 1,010 in 3 years, pretty damn good. And then he had 200 some at ridgedale his freshman year.

I agree with everyone on here about Galion. ESPECIALLY the rebounding..we are TERRIBLE. My son is a big reason for it too. He's never in position to get any rebounds. When he wants to he can go up and get them, but I was VERY disappointed at his effort. Rebounding is a art, and you got to be physical to get after them. Rodman was the best! So yes I was disappointed in that area especially this year. I don't know about Galion changing coaches next year. Bright did step-down, but he was basically forced out by the a select few parents. We would have done a little better with him, not much though. I could see our administration bringing Coach Valentine back. I think they are just content not to have any drama. AND look what a fiasco they had just trying to find a football coach. It took them a few tries to find a coach. Not many coaches want to come here and not get a teaching job. The problem with Galion is man I just don't see a talented group coming up any time soon. Not any size for next year, except one kid. They are going to be small unless someone grows quickly. I'll be following them once I move back to Wooster in July though. I hope they surprise me in football and basketball next year. I love the school. I'm not impressed with the administration though, but they got some nice teachers though.

Yet some still feel this is a desirable place to land. If a quality coach would take this post, if Valentine is not back, it could be assumed it would be as a step to something better or guy with connections to the community.

BV falls to Independence I think by 18. My son, Bones,#25 went out with 16pt,14Reb and 4 blks and as senior, left everything he had on floor. First year he got a chance to play minutes and will only get better if he decides basketball is what he wants to do and not baseball. I'm proud of the man he's become. Chose #25 after watching the Benji Wilson 30/30 on ESPN. Said he never got his senior year so I will wear his number to honor him. Lead league in blocks, top 6-7 in rebounds. Proud of the BV kids never stop playing hard. They will be a handful in a couple years. Gast did a great job mixing young with old and it will help them next year. On to baseball. Good luck to rest of the teams still alive.

I'm a little surprised that the teams finishing in the bottom of the league have so many all conference players and some even higher than the teams with success.

For what it's worth, Ridgedale is a completely different team with their full roster. Ridgedale was only down 3 heading into the 4th quarter at Africentric yesterday. Based on a quick google search, I found an article where it sounds like Shekinah's best player had a knee injury and has been out for awhile. Shouldn't be a problem for Cardington to advance!

If you notice there is 1 player from each team on each. Take it with a grain of salt is how I look at it. 1st team is correct, after that not so much. Ellis should be POY

"1 player from each team on each" Aren't there 8 teams in each Division? I only see 6 players on 1st and 2nd team. Are the coaches told they must be PC when they vote??

For what it's worth, some years ago I heard that the coaches could nominate three players from their team, but could not vote for them as to 1st, 2nd or honorable mention. May or may not still be that way.

Kegley 2nd in reb and blocks and team tied for 1st, yet he's on 2nd team and a Freddy is on 1st and they were close to bottom and he's not on any list.

Nu beat BV last night 51-47 I think. BV had 2 shots at tying it late but the story of the season, can't score. Rayburn got 1,000 point. Tourny coming up, how many in red win a game? I've got 2, 3 maybe Red was bad all year but I thought they'd win 2 tournament games at least. Saw Watterson play don't think JA will win so could be an 0ffer for Red.

Blue schools leaving the MOAC in style! (Which I still have mixed feelings about) I think the new KMAC will be a better league for the Morrow County schools than the current MOAC, but I also wish the MOAC never would have expanded to begin with.

Bright wasn't let go he resigned. There are 2 things that I know for certain. 1. There will be a new coach next season. and 2. If Bright hadn't resigned this team was capable of winning 5 games max, although the losses would likely have been closer. Are you just asuming(I know this is spelled wrong but it won't let me add another s, LOL) this or have you heard something? A lot of people think there will be but I haven't talked to anyone that knows for sure. Are you going to answer the question? You don't have to say who said what but I'm just curious why you are certain. I haven't heard anything other than people hoping that there will be a new coach next season.

Is a KMAC website in the works? Would be nice to keep it along the lines of the MOAC website.

I have no clue on a website but I would assume they'd have one.
Cardington-Lincoln 92 Shekinah Christian 44
Devin Pearl with 37 points and one source told me nearly 20 boards. Same source said Pirates made 17 threes....It seemed like that was very legitimately possible.
Will play Wellington next, will really test Cardington. Let's go!

I predicted them to win by 55. Not far off. I knew just because ridgedale beat them.
