^^^ He's not playing. I believe he's fine now, he just did not want to play.

Harding, doesn't have much size and didn't look good at Ontario. Who looked to be their best player will be lucky to finish games.

You're right, they do not have size. Who do you think is Harding's best player?

Jason Ellis is there best player. And most think he'll get moac player of the year. Strokes it from 3 like no other.

Hardings size will be there problem. Willard is talking about browley but he isn't the best player or second best. That scrimmage was different lineups.

Ellis is certainly one of the top players in the conference.... Harding will be at the top of the conference with Pleasant and JA in my opinion.

I'm thinking those 3 as well.

Ellis, sayre and Jefferson will handle the ball I believe. Wasn't at that scrimmage so not sure how much Ellis played. But he's one of the best in any game he's played I've seen. You can look up Jason Ellis hudl for his film if you don't know him.

I would be hard pressed to not put BV in the mix. The Gast brothers can coach and their teams are always solid. There are lots of holes to fill but I would be shocked if they were not in the top 3.

Starner and Keller decided not to play. Jefferson decided to play. There's some other players that stepped up. Keller was best defender but didn't score it much. Starner could score, that's biggest thing will miss.

That's to bad. I hate to see kids quit for silly reasons. But i guess it opens doors for other kids to step up.

Bad first half for Harding. Ellis slow start. Couldn't beat the press. Down 15 at half. Better second half. I think olentangy won by about 15. But Harding made the adjustments to not allow a blow out. Olentangy is a solid team they play good defense. Ellis finished with 19 or 20 I think. Got out rebounded pretty bad. But second half showed what they can be. It will be a season of ups and downs. I predict them in top 3 of moac. Which could go to any of the 3 teams.

You were watching a different team then 4
Harding has no direction on the floor and don't listen to Don. They wait around for Ellis to do all the scoring.
They will be VERY lucky to be .500 this year

I'll reserve making any predictions about BV until I know who goes out. They obviously lose a lot from last years team. They should have more overall size this year, but it will be a lot of unproven talent. How their younger kids develop and how quickly will determine how good they can be. That, and how quickly and good their leadership develops will make or break their season. Ironically, that would mirror the concerns I had for their football team. The difference You won't believe what you can accomplish by attempting the impossible with the courage to repeatedly fail better - Tim FerrisI would have much more confidence in the basketball staff than the football staff. That's why I would say they'll always be in the mix. That, and as some of you have already said, their student section creates a tremendous home court advantage. "The difference between the two though is" - While, in football, the MOAC is a very mediocre conference, in basketball, the MOAC might easily be the worst boys basketball conference in the Midwestern United States.

Jedbartlet. In the first half I can agree with that. It was pretty bad. But olentangy is a solid school too. Probably one of the best they'll play this year besides Dublin Jerome. So won't have to see that again. Foul trouble kept Jefferson and sayre out quite a bit. The second half was different getting the margin to 10 and forcing some timeouts. Ellis found a couple other scorers and the defense made some stops. The starters are a lock but that bench is still being figured out.

And baskets just weren't falling. Talked to one of the coaches he said just seemed cold that night from the court. And they have to get sayre and Jefferson involved and outta foul trouble.

The game at Harding high school I was watching lmao. I thought sayre had 3. But down 10 at one point to a d1 occ team. And played them hard in the second half. You can be negative about that if you wish. But they won't play a team that good in the moac.

They will compete for the 1st place moac as has been said. Starner and Keller are big losses but they gave up basketball so can't stay stuck on that and have to move on. It can't be used as an excuse. Harding was outplayed big time in the first half last night. Played even in the second but couldn't catch up.

I'm going to say pleasant is my pick right now. They have size. Harding plays orange next game another tough team that'll beat Harding. Then it's moac time. I'm going to catch the pleasant vs Delaware Hayes game tonight.

A man of wisdom. I'm learning about MOAC basketball. After seeing Harding, if they're a contender in the MOAC, they would maybe finish 5th in the NOL and next to last in the Ohio Cardinal Conference this year. Being the largest school in the NOL and next to largest in the OCC.

GT had hope in a team that was lucky to win a game lol, Harding basketball will have around a .500 season. Replacing 3 starters is tough. They'll be fine once they start playing moac lol.

After one loss and the thoughts of some reasonable knowledgeable people, Harding has fallen to average. Kinda like galiontiger after seeing Galion's first loss. The bottom didn't fall out until after his son's injury.
