WH only rushed 3 linemen most of night dropping eight back into coverage for.most plays. WH linebackers very quick and reacted very well to either run or pass. Dont believe any SBC team could have beaten WH last night the way they played, but Shelby has not looked good last 3 games. Not at all surprised if CF beats them.

From the sound of it they battled even when things got tough. Last night they did not. They were less flat coming out than against Galion, but did not respond to adversity well. Down 17 at half due to three turnovers is not an insurmountable problem. Clean up the mistakes and quit giving them a short field and you’re right back in the game especially with an explosive offense. Obviously they did not rebound. One bright spot. The running game was better. They’ve put some plays in the get the ball to the athletic receivers and the line opened some seams. The QB ran well on some designed keepers and when the pocket broke down. |

Shelby did not seem to have great energy or desire most of the game against WH, IMO. Seemed like they were a little flat. Kudos to WH, they are a solid squad and gave Shelby trouble all night. I thought WH would win, but not like this. Also, the athleticism of the WH Line was a huge difference in this game IMO. Shelby is big up front, but they just aren't as explosive as WH was.
Week 10 CF and Shelby is shaping up to be a solid game, will interesting to see how they respond. I think they will have their way with River Valley's Defense, but it might be a shoot out.
