Sexton even with all the wins the Cavs have accumulated and all the expectations they have surpassed without him is still very much needed for this team and they were 7-4 to start the season before he went down... it wasn't like they were playing bad ball with him. Could really use his scoring on this team. His injury is the reason the Cavs are exploring options for a guard opposite of Garland that can score. Would Sexton be happy coming off the bench/waiting for Garland to get injured, or do you suggest starting two 6-1 point guards? In either case, not sure Sexton would add to the team chemistry the Cavs have going now.

This team had the second lowest over/under in the league (26.5) at the beginning of the year and people on here act like every loss is in game 7 of the finals

Garland was named an All-Star tonight. Well deserved every game he is out it proves more and more that he is the MVP of this team.

We just witnessed one of the worst calls ever by a ref. How the hell do you count a 3 point shot after the whistle had blown because the ball went out of bounds.. and it almost cost the Cavs the game.

They even huddled and still decided to keep the 3 points.

Big win for the Cavs especially being without Garland. Jarrett Allen is just a man. It might the biggest trade the Cavs have ever pulled off. Kevin Love once again steps up big time and Goodwin once again giving them solid minutes. Rondo still stinks. Also the Nets and 76ers both lost tonight. Cavs return home Sunday to take on the Pacers.

Read an article this morning regarding that call: Referee Brian Forte confirmed in his pool report that the crew blew the call, due to a lack of communication amongst the officials. Gee, ya think?

You could see on TV, the guy on the baseline called him out and he pointed Hornets ball. I don't understand how he didn't tell the other refs this. Also, I assume Cleveland was without a challenge. I didn't watch the whole game.

Caris Levert traded to the Cavs. Nice addition and the Cavs basically gave up nothing. Win-win.

Levert is exactly what Cavs needed someone who can get their own shot and take the load off Garland some and Cavs didn’t gave up any piece within the rotation. I really like the move.

Osman and Rondo are battling for worst players on the team. It’s a close race.

Heck of a comeback win after only scoring 12 points in the first quarter. Love went nuts in the second half. Osman finally got hot in the 4th quarter, still don’t like him though lol. Will definitely be interesting to see how LeVert fits in with this team eventually.

Its going to be interesting once the real physical play allowed in the playoffs and how this young team reacts to that. So far, this has been probably one of the most exciting seasons since the Miracle at Richfield years -- yes, even counting the championship year IMO

Will definitely be interesting to see how LeVert fits in with this team eventually. There are those who need to understand what Altman has put together and the belief system Bickerstaff has engrained for THIS TEAM to be successful. There is no longer a King in town or anything like him. Bickerstaff says this is a TEAM of players that believe in each other, support each other and count on each other do what is needed to win a game like tonight. They believe that when someone or multiple players are needed, they will step up. Without the disparaged Cedi and Rondo, doing what the TEAM believes in, the Cavs lose by double figures. This TEAM is SO much more fun to watch than the one that stood around and watched LeBron do his thing. It is yet to be seen if this experiment can get to the NBA finals.

I think it's important to be noted that Levert and Jarrett Allen already have a relationship dating back to their days in Brooklyn and Cavs didn't get rid of any pieces in the locker room as Rubio has been away from the team rehabbing. I think that's something Koby took into consideration before making this trade considering the chemistry of this team.

It is so refreshing to see a team play as a team as these CAVS are doing. Reminds me of the Daugherty, Price, Nance teams. No superstar, a couple of All-Stars (or soon to be) and in it every game. Will be nice to see if they can keep this going for a few, if not many years. LeVert seems like a good pickup. Will be interesting to see how he gels with the team.

At least I hope so.

Will Levert be able to play on Wednesday against the Spurs? He went through physicals yesterday and Cavs practice today. Read the plan is to have him practice today and that they are hopeful he makes his debut on Wednesday.

JB also said that Garland and Lauri both practiced today at "different levels". Sounds like Garland will play tomorrow but Lauri is a week away or so.

Garland didn't miss a beat after being out 4 games. 27 points on 12/15 shooting, 5 rebounds, 6 assists. He is the straw that stirs the drink for the Cavs.

Cavs vs 76ers Saturday becomes even more intriguing after the Simmons-Harden trade. Cavs may be the first team to go against the Embiid-Harden Duo.

It’s also the second night of a back to back for the Cavs so that’s not as ideal.

Harden will not make his 76ers debut against the Cavs tomorrow. He is arriving in Philly this weekend and will be evaluated by the 76ers training staff regarding his hamstring injury to determine when he will be able to return and make his debut. This is a boost for the Cavs on Saturday.
