Also, past handful of games our rondo takes are becoming exposed

Cavs vs 76ers Saturday becomes even more intriguing after the Simmons-Harden trade. Cavs may be the first team to go against the Embiid-Harden Duo. Harden will not make his 76ers debut against the Cavs tomorrow. He is arriving in Philly this weekend and will be evaluated by the 76ers training staff regarding his hamstring injury to determine when he will be able to return and make his debut. This is a boost for the Cavs on Saturday. Harden won’t be passing up a free weekend at the strip clubs.

After the game there was a video of Tristan Thompson giving DG a giant congratulatory bear hug. It sure appeared to me that DG grimaced in pain and immediately grabbed his lower back. Hope it was nothing.

The Cavs can’t just keep getting down big every game in the first quarter. Down 13 tonight and got down over 20 last night.

Didn’t get to watch the game tonight but before the game I thought our bigs would be able to handle Embiid defensively. After looking at the box score that was obviously not the case.

He was the one man wrecking crew tonight. Without Embiid, they’d be awful. I know Harden is on the way but they go as Embiid goes.

How have the Hawks lost a single game? Or do they just shoot like this against the Cavs only?

2 Ls back to back not the way you want to head into the all star break. Cavs better regroup and figure out this tiny slump. Seems as the young team has hit their wall.

All-Star weekend is over. Cavs resume play Thursday @detroit. 24 games remaining in the season and the East is tight. Cavs are 2.5 GB from 1st and only 2.5 games ahead from being in the play-in-games. Every game matters from here on out.

Someone will have to help explain this to me. Garland is ruled out tomorrow for his back. If his back was still a issue why did he play in the all star game? And Levert is out with a sprained foot. How did Cavs come out of the break less healthy?

How did Cavs come out of the break less healthy? They are managing players health, which translates to they are playing the Pistons

The East is extremely tight and only 24 games left. Also, last time against the pistons with DG Cavs lost.

If DGs back is still an issue I want him to sit till it's fully healthy and I question why he played in the All-Star game? You stated Cavs were "resting him" and my answer to that is I think that's stupid. He is either good to go or not. Resting players at this stage in the game is dumb can't afford to pick and choose when you play when the East is so tight. He should sit until fully healthy then.

If you wanna be taken seriously, don’t lose twice to the worst team in the NBA.

Hope DG enjoyed that all-star game. Cavs are approaching fast towards the play-in tournament and out of the playoffs.

I wouldn’t go that.far, out of the playoffs talk, but definitely stings to see them lose to the worst team in the nba. As tight as the race in the east is, every game matters for seeding.

It sounds like DG will be out for more then a couple games. If that's the case there is only 23 games remaining and Cavs are only 2 games ahead of the play-in seeds I would bet they miss the playoffs if DG doesn't get healthy soon. This team has overachieved but it would suck to miss the chance to gain playoff experience for this young team.

Rondo is now out two weeks with a toe sprain. Injuries have derailed the fun surprising season. The fun is coming to an end.

Cedi Osman is not good at basketball. Wade needs more minutes over him.

Not much Cavs can do right now with Garland, Levert, and Rondo hurt that's your 3 primary ball handlers. Not going to win many games with Brandon Goodwin, Cedi, and Tim Frazier being your PGs. 2 of those guys are supposed to be D Leaguers and Cedi is not a ball handler. Did like to see their fight last night. If they didn't get smoked in the 3rd quarter probably would have won the game.

Garland is a game-time decision today instead of being ruled out. Fingers crossed he plays... this team really needs him at the moment.

This young team still has lots of growth to come. This is not a playoff team this year they won’t end in the top 6
