What ever happen to the sensational runner that transferred to Ontario's teams as a freshman? Shouldn't she be a junior this year?

The rumor (and it’s only a rumor) is she didn’t care for the coach and hooked up with like a home school team of some sort. It didn’t fly with ohsaa so she had to sit.

The rumor (and it’s only a rumor) is she didn’t care for the coach and hooked up with like a home school team of some sort. It didn’t fly with ohsaa so she had to sit. Not "she", the parents. Last year in track, the coach made a decision to run her 2 best distance runners, one in the 1600, one in the 800 at the Regional event in hopes of getting both to the state meet. "She" had qualified in both events at the District meet. The other runner, who had missed most of the season with an injury, qualified in just the 1600. The parents wanted "she" to run the 1600, perceived as her best event since she had won a National Title in the event as an 8th grader. An interesting aside. Her time as an 8th grader was 5:04, her best time as a Sophomore was 5:16. Also, in cross country as a Soph, she was running with Lex's top runner in meets the first month of the season, then became a middle of the pack runner over night. What happened? She was contact traced a couple of times, but never tested positive. Her mother, the CC and Track coach at Mansfield Christian, wanted to coach her daughter herself during this CC season and have her run with the Ontario team in meets. You allow that and parents in other sports would want to coach their kids, instead of the school's coach. She's an even better swimmer. After 2 years at Ontario she holds every school record except one. And placed in multiple State Meet events both years. She could transfer back to MC and play sports right away, but they have no swim team. What's not to like about this coach? She's had successes in league meets through State meets. Her program is in good shape as both girls and boys won MOAC Middle School CC titles this year. All the runners and their parents in my family really like her. As far as I know over the years, this was the only parent with an issue.

Ant exception rule can only be used once. It cannot be used to go to a school and then back from a school. Also swimming is an individual sport so a single person can be a swimmer and compete, but it takes a minimum number to compete as a team.

This is now her Junior year. Unless there's been a change. You can transfer back to the private school(the key) you came from and play without sitting. I am WELL aware how swimming works. BUT...then half the events she swam in the past 2 years at the State Meet, she could not compete in at MC, as they were relay events. Also THE reason she transferred to Ontario was so she could be part of a team and run relays in track and swim on relay teams in swimming with TEAMMATES, and experience being part of a TEAM, as opposed to being ONE individual. That's what she told me.
