Huron will beat Lex pretty easily. I also believe they have a good chance to beat the Napoleon/SM winner. Buchtel or TCC not so much but if they get to the elite 8 u gotta a chance

They may not have a Star player like Valentine or Studor, but they have 8 guys that just get after it. I underestimated their physicality, their determination, how they work together as a team. Their interior passing is outstanding. They wear you down. They maintain the same intensity for 4 quarters....its hard to match. Close game at half, but WR wins by 10.

Is anyone else surprised the Studer was the D3 district player of the year when Valentine has a full ride offer to play D2 basketball in college?

I think studer is more important to CC as a whole, Valentine is good but a little suprised he is going to Ashland. I have watched them 3 times and studer is a stud, especially defensively. Both are nice players.

Almost game time... so a few thoughts. I have only seen Huron play once this year and that was Thursday night. Lex and Huron played one other time. That was the 1973 District Final in which Huron won 49-48. They are well coached and disciplined team. Here is my take on the key points of the game... Inside game and rebounding advantage Lex. Perimeter game and guard play advantage Huron. Coaching slightly to Lex. Consistency has to go to Huron. Strength of schedule Lex. What's that all mean. Probably nothing. But I will be a Homer and take the Minutemen in a close one. Good luck to both teams and Go Big Lex!!!

Huron wins. Still not impressed. Will see what they do at BG. Lex bigs put the ball on the floor way too much which allowed the smaller Huron players to rip the steal. Why Lex didn’t continue to pound it inside boggles my mind.

Hats off to Huron. They play very good team defense. It will be interesting to see how Huron defends the 6'10" kid from St. Mary's. Good luck to them the rest of the way.

Watching on OHREPORT I only had two things to say. 1. Dylan Hohlers athleticism is top notch. 2. Where are all the Huron fans!?!?!

Good luck to them the rest of the way. what will be really interesting is how they defend huron.. they seem to live and die in a 2-3 zone. with 5'10 guards that won't go well.. while SM's front line is really talented, the guard play is very shaky.. i think you do the best you can at trying to deny the big kid and not let him put the ball on the floor, but he can pass as well as any big kid i've seen. but if they stay in that 2-3 zone they better hope our shooting is horrid..

How many 5'10 guards do they have? From what I have seen their starting lineup goes 5'10-6'2-6'3-6'6-6'10. I'd say this game is even going in. Huron won a district title with their inside defense and not their outside offense. They will have a bigger challenge in that area on Thursday.

Lexington is going to be a tough out next year. we will be division 3 again if they do an enrollment update.. (which we wouldve been this year had they updated it) ..

I could make the argument that your better off being D2 this year as opposed to D3.
