Current Enrollment numbers without the competitive balance equation 462 Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon) 426 Wooster (Wooster) 378 Ashland (Ashland) 344 Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield) 343 Mansfield Senior (Mansfield) 340 New Philadelphia (N Philadelphia) 301 Lexington (Lexington) 232 West Holmes (Millersburg) 230 boy difference between top-bottom with bottom being defending Champs and looking to repeat. And Bellevue/Clyde have a problem with Ross? GTFudgeOH your obsession with Ross is something you might want to see a professional about. How are the truckers gunna be?

I thought they were well above Lexington last year. That would drop them down to division 4 probably.

At the end of the day, do you want to compete and play challenging teams. Not many want to be a small school in their own league. Ottawa Glandorf is a prime example of a smaller school in a league that invites the idea of playing larger schools and because of that, have great history of success in post season play.

I might put Lex in the same conversation as Ottawa Glandorf in that they play up in competition and size in the OCC and going back to Ohio Heartland Conference. They have been pretty dominant in basketball with the exception of versus Mansfield Sr. While football not so much. They have had a few good years. This has led to winning a couple of state titles in basketball and a final 4 appearance. Plus much success in soccer, tennis, and cross country. I know Willard Filmore would like to remind us that Lex wants in the MOAC. But I believe they inquired for travel reasons more than trying to avoid competition when New Philly was accepted into the league.

I was told by a past Lex Admin, that even if Lex had been invited to the MOAC, they would have still looked to play Mansfield, Madison, Ashland, Mt Vernon in non-league play as well as other tough opponents.

I can say for west Holmes yes they are at disadvantage being the smallest school in league but they have shared or won outright 4 titles in football in lat 10 years this year looks promising. Now go and look at records against each school and outside of Wooster and new Philadelphia joining league they have held their own in last 10 years

As long as New Philly is still Compen$ating the OCC to let them play Dover their last game, Why would they let Dover join ? That was the original agreement by New Philly to join, If they could play Dover last, And was willing to Pay to do it.

Everyone knew in the OCC that if NP got in Dover was coming. They are requesting admission as a 9th member and since it only take 2/3 vote. If Mansfield, Madison, Ashland, Wooster and New Philly say yes it could happen since West Holmes has no options and would want to save face.

I'm willing to bet lex and WH would jump ship if there was another option they could take. not sure about Lex. Lexington would love to see a Richland County league base. Even if it went big/small school. In Richland you have Madison, Mansfield, Lexington, Ontario, Shelby, Clear Fork. Toss in the options of Ashland(very doubtful) Galion, Loudonville(always looking), Willard(looking for something new), Mount Vernon(since they fear the Columbus leagues).
