I'm rather surprised someone didn't create a thread on the recent conduct by (coach) Juwan Howard and the subsequent melee. By past instances, we knew he was a loose cannon at times. Screaming expletives and throwing a punch during the handshake session, will probably result in his suspension the remainder of the season and most probably a probationary restriction. Should he be fired? No opinion, one way or other on that. No doubt, he incited a mini-riot, that could have resulted in serious injury to players of both teams.

Go to the Ohio State thread, lots of conversation on there about it.

Thanks, wasn't expecting this to be an Ohio State thread. Good comments though. If this was an Ohio State coach doing this thuggery, he would be gone, without a doubt.

I am a Michigan fan and I think he should be fired. How embarrassing.

It is a VERY sad day when we are discussing the idea of doing away with the sportsmanship act of shaking hands after a contest because of classless coach who has proven it multiple times.

The sad thing is, the man has offered not a hint of an apology, for his actions.

There is NO way this will be the last ugly incident he's in, the man is not wired that way. Suppose there was a 3 strike and you're out admonishment by the U of M administration?

Will this ticking time bomb, be allowed to coach in the Big Ten Tournament? Michigan fans are surprisingly silent on their unwired coaches antics.

We knew when his suspension was handed out that he would be coaching in all of their Big Ten Tournament games. As the suspension was just for the remainder of U of M's regular season games.
