Lexingtons non-conference schedule is upgraded somewhat IMHO. It includes at Ontario, Willard, and at Shelby. which have been on the schedule forever. Also at Norwalk, at Olentangy Liberty, Marion Pleasant, and at Ottawa Glandorf. They also play Northmor too open up the season at Lex. They dropped Hiland and Orrville(replaced by Mt Vernon in conference but was already played), but who else did they drop to pick up the third new opponent?

Ashland will be interesting this year. They played better as the season went on last year and have some solid players returning. They don't have a true center but they have plenty of height at the wing position. Always seems to be how fast can the football guys get into basketball condition considering a good chunk play both.

Scooter; West Salem Northwestern was the other team. Lex played them at the WQKT Steve Smith Classic last year.

With most of the teams heading to the winter season this week I figured I would get this bumped up.

How do you think they will do in the OCC?

Idk I'm guessing they beat Clearfork, west Holmes, Mansfield . Split with Ashland and lex and lose to Wooster both times.

What was your guess for football?

Probably more like beat Clearfork, west Holmes, lex and Mansfield both times , split with Ashland and lose both to Wooster and mount Vernon if mount Vernon is like they useually are. I switched my mind about lex because they are very young this year

Lex returns 6-5 Sophomore starter Cade Stover, 6-1 Senior Starter AJ Nicholi, 6-9 Senior Chase Munro who started until he was Injured. 6-2 Dana Shoulders who was in the rotation last year. Correct me if I'm wrong scooty.

Like many fans, you continue to have an optimistic view in the fall and winter preseasons.

"optimistic" is being polite, unrealistic is closer.

Chase Munro from what I hear will not be playing due to an unfortunate knee injury. Lex will get better as the season progresses. They could be very good come tournament time. They have a lot of potential the next 3 years. They should play good defense and be a pretty uptempo team offensivley from what I have seen and heard.

Wow, really sorry to hear that about Chase. Two years in a row. A shame, as a broad shouldered 6-9 he had many choices in his basketball future.

"Two years in a row"? It is the same injury. He had issues with his knee during football last year. Dealt with some discomfort in early basketball but was told it will never get better if he continues to run and jump.
Munro did not play football this year and did not plan on basketball either.

Why do you always have to be such an ***?
Where did I say it was 2 different injuries?? Chase can't play basketball 2 years in a row. THAT is what is a shame.
Your Lex buddy said, "Chase Munro from what I hear will not be playing due to an unfortunate knee injury". You should be straightening him out.
You both suffer from the same malady.

The Lex guy knows the injury was from last year. Nothing to straighten out. It's not happened 2 years in a row, the injury ended his career last year. Most knew that as it was discussed on NOSF.

Your assumptions are off. take the info that was provided and move on. It's not a "2 years in a row" injury. It's a lifetime injury. That's all I was letting you know.
