A question only they can answer. if you get the chance to ask them, also find out why there was a fight between Wooster and Wets Holmes this year when they beat them by 37. OR with Madison last season when they won by 15-20. May want check your score facts. My bad, the number 21 was stuck in my temporal lobe, as that was the number Ontario was beaten by Wooster AT Wooster. Lex INDEED was beaten AT Lex by 22, one point more. Ontario's fans and players must all be good people. No problems last year when Ontario beat Wooster by 18 OR this year when Wooster won by 21. Did your temporal lobe tell you if Ontario was ever in the game? Already buried by 12 at half. About the same amount your team was down to Lexington this year at the O-rena.

Since you saw the sign, tell us what it said. Be careful, I saw the sign up close. I'd hate to point out your dishonesty AGAIN. I never said the police did anything other than not allow the Lex students to go to the Ontario student section.
Police always laugh about stupid teenagers. What would have been the reason the police didn't let the Lex students deliver their sign? What would have been the reason the Ontario administrator wouldn't let the Lex students deliver their sign on their end around attempt? AFTER they were told to "get back in their area"? Disobeying a police directive.
I wasn't told anything, I was just a witness.
The sign idea was a bad idea. The sign the Lex students had was a worse idea. If you REALLY saw the sign you were FLAT OUT being dishonest again, when you called it a "game day contest" sign. It was the type of sign why most leagues have a rule against having signs at basketball games.
Tell us what the SIGN looked like, tell us what the SIGN said.

What's with your gray matter? Ontario lost to Lex by 5, Lex almost choked the game away. Ontario lost to Wooster AT Wooster by 21. There was absolutely no way Ontario could cut into their lead. That's why I figured Lex would lose to Wooster by 15-20 at home, I gave home court advantage too many points. I had the advantage of seeing both Wooster and Lex play before they met. Lex isn't close to what Wooster is, as you know.

EVERYONE picked Wooster as the heavy favorite in the OCC this season. What they return and what they had move in is more than anyone else had coming back. But I guess you are right, it does not matter how you win, or if you ALMOST choke. What matters is that you win. And in the games you saw, both of these teams did, win that is.

Good news is I have seen the video of the fight at Lexington on all the Cleveland News Stations the last few days. Nothing like making your schools look good like a bunch of parents getting in a fight.
As far as basketball is concerned. Looking forward to Ashland and Mansfield St Pete's tonight. Should be a good test for both teams.

Ashland should be able to protect home court in this one.

Isn't every team in a conference a conference rival? There isn't a difference between losing by 5 or losing by 21?

I give good value to home court. But in your comparison of the Ontario score to the Lexington score you forgot about the conference factor. Wooster was in control of the Ontario game from the tip and the outcome was never in doubt. But in their road conference game they were down after a quarter and was close at halftime. Which could give credit to home court, but the better team still won in both games in our discussion.

It's your sign, you repeat it's wordage. More DISHONESTY by you. NOT my sign, it was the Lex student section sign. Your DISHONESTY originally called it a "game day sign". The only way for you can crawl out of your DISHONESTY hole is to tell us what the sign said. Your lack of knowledge of the English language is showing again when you use the the phrase "repeat it's wordage" the verb "repeat" means to - Say or utter again. Show us where I already said what the sign said. More DISHONESTY by you. You've told us about the boy friends and girl friends in the student sections. You've told us what the police told the students with the sign. You've told us that the police laughed about the students. You've told us that the Ontario AD gave the Lex student section sign to Lex administrators. You've told us about the sign and the Lex students ending up in the principal's office. If the sign was not a big deal why did this occur? Why doesn't Mr. Lexington Know-It-All want to tell us what the Lex student section sign said? Here's a chance for you to be HONEST.

You have issues with the sign. I do not. I thought the kids being kids factor was in play. Some of the O-kids got a laugh from it too.
i'm always honest. I have no reason not to be. Just because I do not play one of your games doesn't change that.
i'm done with the sign. You keep talking bad about kids if you want to though.

I give good value to home court. But in your comparison of the Ontario score to the Lexington score you forgot about the conference factor. Ya, there's no rivalry between Lexington and Ontario. How long have they played? How long has Lex played Wooster? How close is Lexington to Ontario. How close is Wooster to Lexington? Are their boy friends and girl friends between the Lexington and Wooster student sections?

Go back to checking leg hair.

You have issues with the sign. I do not. I thought the kids being kids factor was in play. Some of the O-kids got a laugh from it too. I have issues with your DISHONESTY. Did "kids being kids" factor into the Wooster players going into the stands? Since you say you have no issues with the sign. Then I will ask these questions AGAIN, that you failed to answer before. WHY did the police stop the Lex Students from taking the sign to the Ontario student section? WHY did the Ontario administrator stop the students from taking the sign to the Ontario student section when they went around the other end of the gym? WHY did the Lex students disobey the police directive? WHY did the sign and the Lex students end up in the Lexington principal's office? You're ok with students "getting a laugh" when they're stopped by police? You're ok with students "getting a laugh" when an administrator has to stop them from doing what police already told them not to do? You think it's funny when students don't do what police told them to do? You think it's funny when students are called into a principals office for their actions at a basketball game? If you do not have an issue with what the sign said why not TELL US what it said???

I expected it to be a good game. Ashland needs to regroup, they have played back to back bad games, got away with one of them vs Mansfield. I expected St Pete's to cause some problems with their guards and that is what happened. Ashland couldn't defend them and St Pete's was on fire. St Pete's is a very good team, I expect Ashland to bounce back.

Bye-bye "Arguing your answers" LOLOLOLOLOLOL.....More DISHONESTY.....You HAVE NOT answered my questions. I'll ask them again, giving you a FOURTH chance to answer them. 1) Why did the police stop the guys from the Lex student section from delivering the sign to the Ontario student section? Did they see the sign? 2) Why did the Ontario administrator stop the Lex students from delivering the sign, when they went under the basket at the other end of gym when the game was still on going? Did he see the sign? 3) Why did the Lex students disobey the police directive? 4) Why did the Lexington principal call the students into his office when he saw what was on the sign? 5) The police had an issue, Ontario's administrator had an issue, Lexington's principal had an issue. YOU, "have no issue". If that's the case, why not tell us what the sign said?? TELL US!

Looked closely several times, at all 4 videos in link. I reached these conclusions: many Lex adults, many Wooster adults, a few students, a few Wooster players were in the brawl, the police were drinking coffee. I found it interesting when administrators from both schools and the league commissioner blamed adults. Yes, I'm positive adults were the problem. But the reality of THIS situation and other similar ones that I've seen, is the fault of greed. This fight broke out because Lex and Wooster fans were made to sit next to each other. Instead of putting all Wooster fans on one side of the gym and all Lex fans on the other side of the gym. Many schools sell reserved seats, for an extra $1/game, to their home fans in the middle 50% of the stands on both sides of the floor. Putting visiting fans in the corners of the gym, right next to the home fans in 2 or 3 instances, just asking for trouble in these BIG rivalry games. Many fans are PO'd before the game even starts. When getting there early for the JV game and there are no "good" seats available. AND temperatures start to rise when visiting fans don't notice a sign on the wall at the top of the gym, sit in reserved seats and are told to move when the reserved seat holder arrives at the beginning of the varsity game. What needs to be done is separate the "adults" as much as possible.

Lexington could not fit all of its fans one side of the gymnasium. Especially in games that are near capacity. On the "Away" side the gym is divided at half court. With the visitors on the north side of the gymnasium and Lex on the south side. Is there intermixing of the fans yes probably so. Myself, my dad and 2-4 of my friends have sat right behind the scoreers table for the past 25+ years with no issues before last Friday night. It was scary and hopefully this will never never happens again. You shouldn't have to separate "ADULTS' because of a few *** h0le$.
This has got to be stopped though. Becuase this rivalry is just now heating up with Wooster being very good and Lex potentially being very good over the next few years.

It would be very difficult to find a high school game where you did not have fans from both teams playing, sitting beside each other.

Not difficult at Ontario. There is NO reserved seating in the O'rena. There was no reserved seating in the smallish HOT gym that is now the JR HI gym either. Where people lined up at 4:00 in the afternoon, waiting for the doors to open at 5:00. A LOT of people wanted reserved seating then and now. But Joe didn't want reserved seats in the old gym or the O'rena. He wants as many people as possible watching the JV game. So, if you want the best seats you get there for the JV game, even if you don't want to watch a JV game. 99% of visiting fans sit on the side behind the team benches and scorers table. Every once in a while there are a few visitor fans that sit on the Ontario side to get front row unobstructed view seats. 95% of Ontario fans sit on the other side of the gym. Some teachers, adminstrators and team family members sit behind the Ontario bench.
When Lex plays Ontario it is not difficult to keep fans from both schools from sitting next to each other. The same with Senior/Ontario, Shelby/ Ontario, Wooster/Ontario, Madison/Ontario, Sandusky/Ontario.
The only regular season sell out at the O'rena was the Norwalk/Ontario game that Ontario won, when both teams were undefeated. The year Norwalk were State Champs. Again, the vast majority of opposing fans were separated by sitting on the opposite sides of the gym. Except for one Norwalk trouble maker who sat at mid-court front row on the Ontario side. Once he started his bad act. A cop told him to sit down and shut up or move to the Norwalk side of the gym. He behaved himself, but the cop almost sat with him, as he visited him so frequently to make sure he behaved himself.

Lex must have a lot more fans at capacity games than Ontaro. Lexington seats nearly 2500 people. We have had a lot of sell outs or near capacity gamea with Mansfield Sr, Ashalnd, Wooster and Madison. Shelby, Ontario , and Clear Fork have brought big crowds on occasion. I can remember back in the day games with Willard and Malabar were huge crowds. Lex fans would fill nearly 75% of the gym.

There are more Ontario people behind the Ontario bench than opponents. They are sitting side by side.
