Cavs play their most complete game in weeks including the bench when Love is out. Hmmmm I don’t think it’s a coincidence . Love is a liability. Knicks on Tuesday went on a 24-6 run when he entered the game. It’s 4 on 5 when he is out there. Dean Wade played a really good game. When he gets caught back up to speed he makes that bench a lot better. I’ve always been big on his game as he works hard at both ends of the floor. Agreed. If JB doesn't give all of Loves minutes to Dean even when Love is healthy we have problems. Would show the team cares more about showing Love loyalty for his past achievements and sticking with the Cavs over the years rather than winning. Need to run a 9 man rotation. DG, Mitchell, Okoro, Mobley, Allen, Wade, Rubio, Levert, and Osman.

The Cavs have a worse record than last season at this same point in the season.

30 games to go for the Cavs
Need to go 13-17 to match last years record
14-16 to pass it
19-11 to get to 50 wins
Going .500 15-15 would get them a 46-36 record
According to NBAs SOS, the Cavs have the 2nd easiest remaining schedule in the NBA

Great win by the Cavs and great for Donovan Mitchell making that bum for Memphis his b!tch! What a cheap shot that was from Brooks no place for nut shots like that. Mitchell had every right to react that way. Seemed to of light a fire under the team as well.

The Cavs are the 5th seed half a game back from the Nets and Kyrie just requested a trade from Brooklyn. Helps the Cavs chances to regain home court.

Kyrie traded to the Mavs for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, 2029 1st round pick, and multiple 2nd round picks.

What’s all of our thoughts on Levert? He missed past two games and the team is starting to play great ball again. I think he is a good player but may not be the best fit for this team. May be worth trading for a stationary knock down shooter if they could make it happen.

Kyrie traded to the Mavs for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, 2029 1st round pick, and multiple 2nd round picks. Considering that Kyrie just asked for a trade it appears that the Nets were ready to unload him and his baggage. Doncic couldn't carry them very far in the western conference playoffs so they must think that this might be the answer. It will be interesting to see how two guys who are used to having the ball in their hands work together.

I don’t know if I would have made the trade if I were them.

This is why he was a DNP Coaches decision the past couple of games.

Winning 2 games on the road on a back to back is a good sign. It shows some growth.

Okoro is really starting to come around this past month. He is hitting 52% of his threes since the beginning of January and the ball looks to be having a better trajectory coming out of his hands not a line drive shot anymore it's going up first and then coming down which is nice to see. Hopefully, this is a sign of real growth and not just a hot streak.

I’m not so sure that when KD is back the Nets got any worse with Kyrie leaving. Especially with adding Finney-Smith and Dinwiddie they are decent players that gives their team a lot of depth.

The West is loaded with a lot of NBA talent. James, Durant, Steph, Jokic, Luka, Irving, Kawhi, Booker. The West is going to be a slug fest come playoff time.

As the trade deadline is now over it was a very active deadline around the NBA tons of trades happened. Only two teams didn't make some type of move and that is Cleveland and Chicago.

Actually I think for the Cavs it was addition by subtraction. With Love getting no minutes it seems they’ve been playing better since then. Give Wade, Osman and Stevens a few more minutes.

I'm not mad at it the Cavs are in a good spot. They're 4th in the East and 1 GB from the Sixers for the 3 seed and have the easiest remaining schedule. Also, none of the teams in the East behind them really got any better the Nets blew it up, Heat only made a salary dumping trade, and the Knicks only acquisition was Josh Hart . The Cavs are right where they want to be which is make the playoffs and hopefully win a playoff series but really just need to gain some playoff experience for this young group. Allen, Mobley, and Garland really don't have that yet which is why this year isn't the title contending year.

I would like to see the Cavs get to #3 and have a shot at winning in the 2nd round (probably against the Bucks). I think Josh Hart makes the Knicks better. I expect them to be the #5. I also think Poeltl will make the Raptors better. I predict they will get to #8 (of course they've underperformed all year).
