All games at Progressive Field and on ESPN
Game 1: Oct. 7 - 12:07 Game 2: Oct. 8 - 12:07 Game 3: Oct. 9 - 4:07 (if necessary)
This is Cleveland's 16th post season appearance and Tampa Bay's 8th. There was one previous post season matchup between these two teams, a 4-0 win by the Rays in the 2013 AL Wild Card Game.

It will likely be 1 pm for each game Friday and Saturday. However, the MLB is so far behind the NFL and NBA when it comes to being in touch with their fans and doing the best they can to help brand their sport and get people to watch it. We're almost less than two days away from the Wild Card round and we have no idea what time the games are being played. Why does the MLB need stand-alone games who is watching baseball from 1 pm to midnight? Idk many people who are. 95 percent of the people watching these WC games will be fans of the teams playing and 5 percent die-hard baseball fans. Put like two games at 6pm and two games at 8:30 pm so people can purchase tickets/ plan their day accordingly to watch the game.

We're almost less than two days away from the Wild Card round and we have no idea what time the games are being played. We're also, only about 12 hours past the moment when the brackets became final (which might not have happened until about 7-8pm tonight if any of the seeds had come down to game 162) I imagine we'll know the time slots by the end of today.

This further proves my point. What league has a playoff game at Noon on a weekday lol? Just one of the many reasons MLB's popularity is rapidly declining.

A league that doesn't give a flip about Cleveland nor Tampa. You have NBA regular season and NFL games that put up more viewership than the World Series. They don't care about their brand much at all not just Cleveland and Tampa.

As a fan who's not going to the game...I don't mind some day playoff baseball...helps the day go a little faster. And given the colder temps in Cleveland this time of year, I'd rather go at noon then 7pm.

Given the temperature forecast for cleveland friday and saturday (50-52), with a wind off the lake, it will be more than a little brisk for one and all. I will be content to sit in my easy chair at home with a cold brew and enjoy the festivities. Will be very very surprised if there is a sellout for any of the games.

I for one feel sorry for no one that has to "cut the cord" or what ever the expression is to save $40 a month to ***** when they can't watch things they want to watch. Big Babies.

When the Indians left, I left and became a Rays fan. However, with this 3 game playoff, I'm rootin' for......The Indians, GO TRIBE!

A league that doesn't give a flip about Cleveland nor Tampa. It's a good schedule for me and lot's of people I know. Doesn't interfere with Friday night H.S. football, the Buckeyes on Saturday, or the Browns on Sunday.

Bieber and Ramirez get it done today, and we have our first playoff game victory since 2017
Also, please let this thread be about the actual games. Name change related posts have been moved the the name change thread.

It seems like it’s been a while since saying this but one more win and advance. Let’s go Cleveland

Great, Thanks, I was wondering who won. We were losing 1-0 when I fell asleep listening to my old clock radio, I woke up and music was playing. When it was 1-0, I figured we were overdue for our bats to be silent, Glad we came back and won.

Oscar Gonzalez became the second player in team history to walk off homer a playoff game. The other one was Tony Peña in the 1995 ALDS. On to the ALDS!!!
