I look for the Highland@River Valley game could be a shootout, ontario should handle Marion Harding,i like Clear Fork to edge shelby and get a share of the title, and i like Galion to put up crooked number on Pleasant.

Highland at River Valley - Highland in a high scoring game. 49-42
Marion Harding at Ontario- Warriors get a much needed win. 28-14
Shelby at Clear Fork - CF rolls 42-21
Pleasant at Galion - Galion gets back in the win column 35-14. How long until pleasant gets out of the league?

Highland at River Valley - Shelby showed everyone how to slow down RV. Does Highland have the athletes to do it? Can R Valley stop the Highland rushing attack? R Valley at home - RV 42-38 Marion Harding at Ontario - Ontario needs a win. M Harding was doomed from the beginning this season. The Presidents remain winless. Ontario 31-21. Shelby at Clear Fork - Clear Fork needs the win to stay unbeaten in the league and set up a big game vs. Highland. Shelby laid the wood to R Valley. Can they rise up again this week? No. CF 27-20 Pleasant at Galion. Pleasant is getting better but the Spartans are still 1-7 on the season. Galion wins 38-21/

Clear Fork can't clinch a share unless R Valley beats Highland. Highland and CF are both 5-0 in the MOAC.

Highland and Clear Fork could each clinch a share if they win while the other loses. If both win or both lose it will set up a week 10 showdown for the outright title.
Standings:
7-1, 5-0 Clear Fork 6-2, 5-0 Highland 5-3, 3-2 Shelby 5-3, 3-2 River Valley 4-4, 3-2 Galion 4-4, 1-4 Ontario 1-7, 0-5 Pleasant 0-8, 0-5 Harding

Clear Fork 61 Shelby 19 Highland 42 River Valley 21
I understand Highland’s quarterback suffered a gruesome broken arm. Was going to have it surgically reset in Marion tonight.

Harding is a head scratcher They have a good back in Reynolds, and a solid playmakers in Keith and Marquis Long. All 3 have been injured/played injured much of season. They are very, very bad. Pleasant may beat them too.

Marion was devastated by graduation. It was an expected down year but then the coaching issue the week of game one made things worse. The best players being out or playing hurt as said above has made for a long season. I expect the Spartans to win and Harding to finish winless.

They run away with the MOAC track meet, where are all the sprinters?
For as big as the school is it looked like they only had about 20 kids in uniform on the side line.

After experiencing the years 2002-2007 at Galion, that’s tough for any community to have to go through.

After experiencing the years 2002-2007 at Galion, that’s tough for any community to have to go through. These days it could spell the end of your football program. Kids today don't want to play if they are going to lose or get crushed every game. It has happened at New London. I think it might happen at Crestline. Harding shouldn't have an issue fielding a team due to their size but you never know.
