The Ohio State women were playing Louisville at the same exact time as the Men were taking on Duke. I was jumping back and forth, but settled in on those amazing women. They were down 14 points at one point in the 2nd quarter and trailed at the half. But the nations 4th ranked Buckeyes let it loose the 2nd half with their relentless fullcoart pressure and up tempo play. The lady Buckeyes shot 67% from the field 2nd half and had countless steals, to turn a 14 point deficit into a 23 point lead at one point to finally put away the Cardinals 96-77. What a pleasure it is, to view the game played at such a high level. The Buckeyes were averaging 94 points a game, but eclipsed their average last night. They are now the nations 2nd highest scoring offense and ranked among the leaders in scoring margin and steals.

8-0 #4 ranked Buckeyes take on Rutgers at noon Sunday, on BTN.
It is so rare to see a team play at this high of level. The entire roster are great ballhandlers and shooters. They are avg. 51% from the field and 37% 3pts. I think they have been averaging in double digits in steals. #2 scoring offense in the country.

You could tell the Ohio State players knew it was just a matter of time before Louisville would wilt and they did in the 2nd half. The win snapped Louisville's home winning streak at 21 and their home win streak against non-conference teams at 40.

Key getting hurt early kinda handcuffed bucks and McNeil going down in 2nd half for awhile really compounded matters. Only 7 points between them. Then our immaturity at end with easy turnover and poor execution sealed it. But really admire toughness and competitiveness of this young team

Not having Key just killed us. Which is a real shame because we played a really good game against a maybe over rated #1 team. We go 10 deep and with Key, gonna be a tough team to beat .

I didn't like the defensive strategy to double Edey (the Purdue center). They got so many wide open 3s when we doubled. On the last possession I thought for sure we were going to give it to Sensibaugh and clear out. Great team effort! I hope Key isn't very injured.

I thought the freshman did a pretty good job inside. His length was better and Key may have struggled to score. Not saying I would sit Key but I thought it was a good night for the young guy.

Zed being out really hurts. Shots just weren’t falling in the second half and some really bad turnovers. Hopefully Zed isn’t out too long. Thornton has been solid all season but this was probably his worst game so far.

Despite not having the services of two of the top players, Madison Greene and Jacy Sheldon, the OSU Buckeye women continue to make history. They are now 17-0 and ranked #3 in the country.

The women;s OSU team has been able to continue to perform and win because of their deep bench. Unfortunately, the men do not have that luxury.

Been hoping to get Jacy Sheldon back. She has been out like 13 weeks and she is a phenominal defender, averaging something in the range of 6-7 steals a game, before she went down, with an ankle injury. Madison Greene, another great playmaker is out for the season with a knee injury. (must be that artificial turf) Besides the lack of depth, the men are relatively inexperienced and have played remarkably well, considering how green they are.
