If you guys ever think OSU/Mich gets a little intense. It’s got nothing at all on Michigan/Michigan State.

After a turnover, you go into attack mode and do what you do best. That is not a read option. That is not a WR screen. Vertical passing is attacking and we do it pretty well. That is what we do well. Set the run up with the pass. It's just who we are. When we used tempo we looked unstoppable on offense. On defense, I think we saw enough yesterday to realize that JTT does not need to be rotated out to give others a chance to play. He's a game changer and he needs to play just about every snap when the game is close.
We're going to need to tighten up a few things before the last Saturday in November. Shaping up to be 2006 all over again.

There had been a 10 year hiatus, but PSU once again stands for Pick Six University. Welcome to the club JT!

Shaping up to be 2006 all over again. I was screaming this very thing the entire 1st half. PSU was plugging up the gaps and we were dinking with the cute little bubble screens, essentially playing into their hands. Except a couple select instances, we abandoned the verticle passing game and it was there all game long. The center of the field was ripe for exploitation. There is nobody in the country that has an answer for our verticle passing game. I also have a tremendous dislike for our slow, regimented offensive approach, with the entire team staring for the signal from Kevin Wilson and we get set with limited time on the clock. When this team goes up tempo, the offense instantly finds it's rhythm and the defenses get on their heels, with confusion and stress. C.J. is a smart, intelligent QB and it is time to show confidence in him to recognize defensive sets and check off, giving him some freedom to put us in an advantageous situation, where the defense doesn't have the time to adjust. This team is scary good when playing up tempo.

Whoever landed the shot that broke the Michigan players nose is probably going to do some jail time.

No one explained what precipitated this ugly scene. Think the guy dressed in yellow, was where he had no business being and very lucky to be able to walk out of there on his own power. Was the little guy in yellow, there to heckle and taunt? If that's the case, he's lacking brains.
If I remember correctly, M stadium still has the locker rooms as such, that in order to get to the playing field, players must walk through a tunnel that is as inviting for opposing players as an alley on the bad side of town that’s full of broken glass, bums and rats. The tunnel is poorly lit and it is dank and narrow. Finally, there are stairs to navigate to get to field level. I believe the locker room arrangement is such, that teams are faced with awkward minglings to get to the field.
Disregard my reference to (broken glass, bums and rats), thought I'd inject a little humor....lol

I had heard Charlie Frye was on the Penn State staff but honestly didn't give it much of 2nd thought until I watched a couple QTs of this game. I looked it up he is one of 6 offensive analysts named. Curious here. Is that a position that is actually at the stadium or is that a fancy name for someone who breaks down film? There were 6 analysts on the D and O side each. This isn't a diss on Charlie at all I'm glad he's still involved in FB and I would expect when Flores becomes a head coach again, and he will, CF will be back in the NFL

Redskin....keep us posted on how this investigation and prosecution of the individuals in this incident, comes out. Definitely, the guy who threw the helmet at this kid should be charged and the person that punched him and broke his nose should be arrested for some degree of assault. Some players should be suspended, or kicked out of the program entirely. This has no place in college football. But again, outside Ann Arbor, don't think it will be talked about beyond today. Keep us abreast of the situation....please.

I heard the fight started when both Michigan and Michigan state players were arguing on which team is Ohio State’s b!tch. No need to fight the answer is both.

If you guys ever think OSU/Mich gets a little intense. It’s got nothing at all on Michigan/Michigan State. Typical ignorance of U of M to allow both teams off the field at the same time in a stupid stadium design that only has one way off the field for both teams

Still shaking my head on witnessing the most epic, defensive performance by a single player in the history of college football, perhaps all of football, both college or NFL.
Tuimoloau racked up six tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions, a forced fumble and a recovered fumble, a deflected pass – which led to a Zach Harrison interception – and a touchdown.

If you guys ever think OSU/Mich gets a little intense. It’s got nothing at all on Michigan/Michigan State. There's a huge difference between intensity and criminal assoult, with intent to physically harm someone. Four MSU players suspended indefinitely, continues the dark cloud hanging over that program.

I saw a lot of talking and jarring on the field, but all respect after the game. Nice to see that. Can’t say this rivalry is like MSU/TTUN, but those two programs could learn a thing or two from how these young me carried themselves after the game.

I see a few of you are finally coming to grips that Ryan Day let down Buckeye Nation by being pass happy trying to get Stroud 10 TD passes every game instead of working on the run game back in September. Ryan Day did this last year and got us blown out by Michigan. Ryan Day claimed he would be tough this year, patted himself on the back after the ND game and then proceeded to run up scores by throwing, throwing and throwing some more in the 2nd half of games to get Stroud 6 TD passes instead of working on the run game. Last week 66 yards rushing vs Iowa, this week 98 yards rushing vs PSU. Michigan and Jim Harbaugh are laughing. That will not cut it vs Michigan.
Real Buckeye fans have been calling out Ryan Day on this bonehead decision to not work on the run game. Fake Buckeye fans have patted Ryan Day on the back after scoring 77 vs Toledo by throwing, throwing, throwing, and scoring TD's late in the game vs Wisconsin by throwing, throwing, throwing.
It's year 4 of the Ryan Day regime and he still only has 1 win vs Michigan. It's been 1,066 days since Ryan Day last beat Michigan. That's disgusting. The #1 job of an Ohio State coach is to beat Michigan, and this New Hampshire boy has now gone 1,066 days since he last beat them.
Ryan Day has 0 National Championships. Zero, zilch, nadda. Urban Meyer has 3 National Championships Jim Tressel has 5 National Championships Meyer and Tressel understood the importance of developing a run game, Ryan Day is still clueless.
**************** Important Note from a true Buckeye Fan - Me **************** Ryan Day now has 3 tune up games before the Michigan game. 3 games to get that run game in gear. 3 games to focus on running the rock like men. Michigan can be beat. Ryan Day needs a win vs Michigan or he will be John Cooper. It's already been 1,066 days since Ohio State last beat Michigan if that doesn't disgust you then you are a Fake Buckeye fan.

Can’t say this rivalry is like MSU/TTUN, but those two programs could learn a thing or two from how these young me carried themselves after the game. I agree. After watching the after game interaction, hugs, handshakes and sincere showing of respect for one another, I have a new found respect for the folks at Penn State. I am proud of our players and coaching staff, for their classy behavior as well. Leave it all out on the field and afterwards, wish your former adversaries the very best going forward. We are all, fellow Americans, who share common bonds, we love our university, love our team and love the game of college football.
