If it's Wyoming vs Glenville I will still take Wyoming. Van Wert exposed Glenville's defense. I’m thinking this will be a good game. Honestly I’m not putting money on either one . My youngest son and I attend the games on Saturday. Glenville is very talented with tremendous speed. Wyoming hit an 81 yard sweep in the first quarter on a direct snap to the halfback in the gun formation, pretty cool concept. Less need for a dedicated wildcat formation if your QB can block. Unfortunately, this caused Wyoming to think that they could make a living running wide against Glenville. That didn't happen. I can see why Van Wert had Glenville on the ropes, a little misdirection threat with a QB that can run between the tackles with authority and throw. Wyoming also had a two-headed monster situation at QB, one was lefty and the other was right-handed. I tried to figure out what each QB's strengths were but was unable, I'll need to watch the replay if there is one.

VW & Glenville was essentially the state title game. Obviously, Glenville is in the wrong division & should have earned it the right way to play the teams they should be playing, but it is what it is. They are beatable & can see why they weren’t successful in the division they should have been playing. Lack of discipline and pretty basic team, but just have better athletes. Region 14 will be a 2-3 headed monster next year.

If Glenville is there to stay in Division 4 then I feel bad for the others in that region. It’s going to take a great team who is loaded to beat them in Division 4. Even after next year is over they will just restock their program with more Division 1 college talent.

In Glenville's defense, getting past Ed, Ignatius, and Mentor were tall orders. They did have a chance against Davidson one year: lost by a PAT. And, first year in II, inexplicably was hammered by Loveland whom since been in the tank as a Program
