Two passing plays when you’re on the edge of your kicker’s range. Run twice and get 6-8 yards.

The defense still isn’t fixed. Way too many big plays given up. Knowles is paid way too much money to constantly be doing this.

14 point leads against both Michigan and Georgia and the defense can’t keep it. Just terrible.

Good season. But where did that kick come from?

Good season. But where did that kick come from? His rectum. Is that the worst kick in the history of kicks?

Doesn’t matter, the defense still isn’t fixed.
And Georgia is going to kill TCU.

The timing of that last kick was insane, I think 2023 started in EST while that ball was in the air

I thought we played a heck of a game . Ga kicker missed two and we missed one . No complaints ftom this guy . Effort was excellent , One well excecuted kick away from a win .

Good season. But where did that kick come from? His rectum. Is that the worst kick in the history of kicks? Maybe you should direct some of that venom at Day for setting him up to fail. Could have easily picked up a couple yards on the ground on third down and centered the ball. Instead he got greedy and left Ruggles kicking from fifty on a hash. Day and company had a great night but this wasn’t their best moment.

You Ohio fans make me laugh. Calling for Day's head with a 45-5 record but lose to Michigan two straight. Now 45-6 but went toe to toe against Georgia and now nobody is calling for Day's head because it was a close game. Aww darn now you have to play at Ann Arbor in 2023 without Stroud that should be fun. As Joe Tait always said "have a good night everybody"

Where is everybody calling for Day’s head on this thread?

Actually thought Day had a decent night aside from a couple play calls . Even the defense had some great moments . Kinda felt like the Clemson game in 2019

After the Michigan game Ohio Nation wanted Day fired. Do the research. Not only on here but nationwide.

Couple of take away from the game. Refs should not have granted Kirby that timeout for the fake punt, he was to stupid to make adjustments in the first place, in order he should’ve had to face the consequence, Marvin Harrison Jr got injured and he was torching the secondary all night. Welp at least we didn’t lose to a cupcake like TCU. Good season and Go Bucks.

OSU proved they belonged in this years CFP. They were clearly good enough and the comments made about “getting killed by Ga” or “ I don’t want OSU in the playoffs this year for fear of being embarrassed “ Were so wrong and off base.
People criticize the coaches for this and that,,,they just ride with the players they have . If there is an area that needs shored up — it’s the back 5-6. Gotta get better with that unit.
Regarding the reply rules etc—- if you are gonna change the ruling on the field —- better be very very obvious in doing so . If it’s not an easy decision—- leave it alone.

The defense should have a lot of players back next year so hopefully all this experience leads to a better 2023 defensive unit.
It’ll be interesting to see what the offense looks like with a new QB. All the running backs and wide receivers are back so the skill positions won’t be lacking. Not sure who all is back on the o-line, they played well against Georgia.

Defense played well enough to lose. A wide open 73 yard td reception in 4th qtr is not acceptable no matter what. Couple of crucial calls hurt buckeyes too. Reversal of targeting was probably correct but no personal foul call on that? Field goal instead of possible td. And the fake punt was clearly underway when sideline official called timeout. But still comes down to is defense is well below acceptable. Blowing big lead in 4th quarter in crucial games. Not there yet by any means. Little mistakes like that are difference between winning and losing in even-matched games

Obviously disappointed with the outcome but happy for the effort that the Buckeyes made. That was basically the National Championship game right there. At least we lost with a great effort against the #1 team in the country. We represented the Big10 well. I was hoping that Michigan would represent the big10 well being heavily favored but once again, they cant make that happen.

I am incredibly proud of my Buckeyes today! They played a complete game last evening and proved why they were the #2 ranked team in the country most all of the season. The terrible 'no targeting' call by the officials was abhorrent. Leading with the helmet into the MH Jr's neck region, could have caused paralysis or even worse. A correct ruling would have been game changing, at that critical point in the game.

So now is it the McCord or Brown era? My guess is on Mccord. Possibly neither. I've been hearing rumblings of someone of high caliber and significance, destined for the Buckeyes via the transfer portal. You never know and always be prepared for surprises. Elite programs like Ohio State are a natural gravitational destination.

So now is it the McCord or Brown era? My guess is on Mccord. I was thinking Brown. Only reason I say Mccord at this time is because he has been in the program longer and was the current backup. But I could definitely see Brown getting it too. My gut feeling just says Mccord though.

I literally can’t think of any QB that is returning next year in college football that I would want, other than maybe Caleb Williams but he ain’t leaving USC. It’ll be one of our current QB’s.

Two passing plays when you’re on the edge of your kicker’s range. Run twice and get 6-8 yards. What if there was a fumble? 50 yards was well within his range. He can make a 60 yarder. That shank wouldn't have been made with 6-8 more yards.
