New Phil would have been seeded higher with a coach vote OR if credit had been given to playing larger schools.

Heard from a parent that Lexington is looking for some new games on their schedule. They need to replace, two Mt Vernon games, Clyde, Galion, Ottawa Glandorf, the Orrville Classic and the MLK event at ODU.

Heard from a parent that Lexington is looking for some new games on their schedule. They need to replace, two Mt Vernon games, Clyde, Galion, Ottawa Glandorf, the Orrville Classic and the MLK event at ODU. I would not mind keeping Mount Vernon on the schedule for 1 non-conference game also I would try to keep the series with Ottawa-Glandorf going. I know the Titans have had the upper hand in the series but it's been a fun series nonetheless. I do know it's been said that Ottawa-Glandorf may be down by their standards over the next few years from what I have heard. Might replace Clyde and Galion with future division III foes like Sandusky, Norwalk, Lima Shawnee, Lima Senior or Tiffin Columbian. Also wouldn't surprise me if Lex wasn't invited back to the Battle of 614 at Ohio Dominican. I also heard they were talking to Dover about scheduling a game next but nothing confirmed yet.

The way I heard it, Mt Vernon, Clyde, Galion all dropped Lex and didn't want to play them. OG is expecting a dip and was concerned about the distance. Battle of the 614 has already reached out to Lex but they want something better. Dover was contacted about a single game but Dover said no. Games are already in the works with Berlin Hiland, Cincinnati Princeton, Sandusky Perkins and Sandusky and they are looking to play in a multiple team event in Smithville with some big names. All just talk but nothing confirmed.

And Elijah Hudson from Lexington with 15 pts and 12 rebs. He's not from the OCC, But Colonel Crawford's Trevor Vogt had a nice late afternoon and then evening at the MNJ All Star game also. From a news story in the Bucyrus TF: LEXINGTON - Colonel Crawford's Trevor Vogt ran two events and participated in the long jump at the Grove/Keller Invitational Friday evening before jetting over to Lexington High School to represent the Eagles at the 45th Mansfield News Journal All-Star Classic. "It wasn't too bad," Vogt said. "I only ran the 110 (hurdles), 4x200, and long jump." Vogt clocked a 15.60 in the hurdles and the relay ran a 1:35.49 for a pair of first place finishes, and his leap of 20-2⅟₄ saw him finish fifth in the long jump.
And somehow the three-sport All-Ohioan found a way to play his share of 20 minutes finishing with 14 points, four rebounds and two assists as part of the North team that lost 104-97.

I believe Logan Toms competed at the Madison Invite for Lucas earlier in the day and then scored 19 and had 5 rebounds in game. I wonder if anyone else has a spring sport event before the all star game.
