Go Pirates. Should be a good one. Here is hoping Pirates make it 2 in a row. Last year was a great one. Here is hoping we only have to win once this year.

Looks like both teams need this win to make the playoffs.

I know this much about this Friday night between these two and that is NOTHING either team has done all year positive or negative means a damn thing when these two will face off. In fact most things are pretty similar to last season between these two in terms of whose beaten who. All I am guessing is this, it will not be a blowout and I don't even think either team is able to win this one in controlling fashion. It will be a fight for FOUR quarters at the very LEAST.

Go Pirates!!! We've never made the playoffs. To get there we MUST go through the Scots! Let's go! Good luck. My school Mount Gilead has never made the playoffs either. I think when I was a freshman, Cardington had a 10-0 season. I think they had a pretty good running back, Jeff Stone maybe? But apparently they weren't in the top 4 (at that time only 4 per region went to the playoffs with about 28-32 teams per region) Kinda sucked for MG as well. When I was a Junior, MG finished #6 in our region and I think #5 my senior year. I think they finished #5 the year after I graduated as well. And we we're in Div 3 back then (out of 5). We had some big classes at the time but were on the small end of the D3 scale back then with schools like Kenton, Oak Harbor, and Olentangy (yep, div 3 and 4 back then). Times have changed. Update. Finally found the old database online. www.jjhuddle.com/ohsaa-football-harbin-computer-points-database/ Looks like Cardington was #6 in 1990 MG was #5 in 1992 and #7 in 1993.

Ugly night for the Pirates. Absolutely unable to stop the run again. Haven't won at Highland since 02. Ugh.

Ugh. I agree pirate80. What in the hell was that? The best player on the field Devin Pearl was being double teamed by 2 guys who would be lucky if they were 5'10. Our coaches or our QB didn't even try to get him the ball enough. He will win every jump ball. And yes, the 6'3 kid who was 1st team all Ohio last year is the best player on the field. The Wagner kid looked good with at least 10 catches but for 80 yds. Highland just dominated both lines. The Limings kid does a nice job. Runs hard not too fast. We couldn't stop him. Our coaches seemed to change things up on both sides and that didn't work again. Our QB had his worst game. 2 pics, a fumble and a bad decision on a punt that he seemed to have 5 minutes to get it away and he tried to run in their territory. We all make mistakes. We are still 7th in computers

We miraculously still have a shot for the playoffs. Cardington is hungry. I anticipate that they will handle this situation better than they did last year. Losing to Highland sucks....but can't dwell....must be ready for Freddy.
