Lots of late hits after the play? Lineman for Vermilion are seen on film throwing multiple punches in the trenches. One kid was ejected Yeah that is absolutely uncalled for. Win with respect and lose with grace. Almost 20 years ago, I remember any kind of celebrating beyond high fives and a fist pumps got you 15 yards. Things have changed a little I see. I venture to ask the question has some form of relaxing on this area of the game caused some kids to believe other aspects (being dirty in the pile) is now a part of the game. I don’t coach, but I know any kid throwing punches on the field would no longer be on the field or sideline for that matter after that.

I haven’t seen a vermilion team that dirty since my days in the Erie Shore Conference. One kid ejected and lots of flags. I have pictures of kids being hit by Sandusky players. You want to say a game was dirty talk as a whole no player was ejected. Every time that vermilion player you are referring to sat so did the Sandusky player. I also took pictures of the JV game today and both sides were respectful and played a good game. Don’t act like it was a program thing when it was 1 kid on each side who both sat out multiple times.

Vermilion is playing hard and dirty? Good for them, they are finally showing some fight in football. Sandusky had too many athletes for the Sailors....

Well, i’ve seen multiple videos of the one player, and if he wasn’t ejected, shame on the officials. The sophmore was retaliating, which isn’t right, he should of been ejected too. 30 something flags and very little accountability. My question is if you have a player doing that multiple times, how do you send him back out there. That sends a wrong message in every aspect. FYI, my playing days go back a long time with Vermilion, the fans show their true colors at times I have seen it many times.

I heard there was some suspect technique at the Willard and South Central games as well. Mostly hands to the face and stepping on players.

Officials are scarce so we just have to get used to it, honestly. It sucks, but here we are.
