Rv after struggling early in moac have came together it seems by beating Alder, probably wouldn't have happened with Pugh. But for Marion Harding it gives them a shot to share moac title. Coming off a win against buckeye valley, Harding lost a key player that game for week 10 to injury. But still should be a very good game. I'll take Harding in this one 27-21, rv with losses against pleasant and NU leaves there only good win of season against Alder without 3 starters. Week 10 came quick, and we'll see who's in and who's out of the playoffs!

I'm taking RV. They have the motivation and momentum. Playoffs are on the line.

Hey 4 is there one time where you don't prop up your team by talking crap about another?
I don't see RV with in 2 TD but who knows.

Not one for excuses, this loss was on the staff. You can't worry about what you don't have and be one dimensional. Even without Pugh, Alder had plenty of chances in this game. Defense played good enough to win. The goal line stand right before half was big at the 1 yard line. The offensive game plan for Alder was sub par at best. They continued to run counters into the strength of RVs defense. Alder's QB only passed the ball 6-7 times, there were opportunities to make more plays in the passing game. There were plays for him to scramble and improvise. RV was run blitzing all night and the middle was open for him get yards with his feet and in the flats.
IMO I think Harding will have the advantage if they attack the edge and continue to let there QB makes plays and improvise when something breaks down. Should be a good game either way. Good luck to both teams!

Not sure I understand your question Pioneers.
I wasn't giving an excuse. RV played great defense. Alder helped by not adjusting to RVs strength. Ran the same 2-4 plays most of the night right at the top tackling LB in the league.
When we get into a close game, I'm not seeing any adjustments or counters off of our base offense. We seem to be afraid to trust the QB or the receivers we have. We centered an offense around Pugh and now that he's out we have no identity or trust in the rest of the players on this team. The staff says they want to be balanced but last night was far from it.
Just like the playoff game last year, deep post was open all game. No deep safety by Kenton Ridge. Didn't attempt to throw it until we were down 2 scores and we hit it in desperation. Being conservative only can get you so far. It's disappointing even without Pugh and Koenig that we aren't taking advantage of all the talent that's there.
The offense I saw this past Friday won't win us a lot of playoff games. We will see better teams than that, with more dynamic offenses. the defense, which wasn't perfect, will have to be to give us any chance. We better be figuring out our passing game or it's going to be another quick exit .

NO ONE thought RV would beat JA with or without any starters. Plus you only wrote and a few lines and are basically saying RV got lucky in their win...mentioned it twice. I say give the team the credit. They beat them down. Congratulations to RV. I don't see how they beat Harding though...a team I always under-estimate.

Without 3 starters 1 being pugh, I knew there was a chance. So did many others.

This game is going to be all out war on the field. If Harding can limit the mistakes and stupid penalties they should win. Both teams have something to play for, RV with a chance to solidify a spot in the playoffs and Harding a chance to tie for the league championship. Something Harding hasn't done since 2003. Playoffs for Harding, I think not. I believe 6 teams need to lose for them to get the 8th seed. If Harding starts slow against RV they will lose, RV has played pretty good these last few weeks and have some good skill athletes(3 of which are Marion City kids). I'm a Harding Homer so I hope they are able to dominate. Looks the field will be a mess with more rain expected Wednesday/Thursday this week. Harding 28 - RV 14.

"All out war"?? There's already been too much of that this year. Fights, ejections, a plethora of personal fouls and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.

According to Joe Eitel's numbers they could also win and finish #10 seed. Exciting times for teams right now.

Galion why bring it up still? Has nothing to do with football. He simply didn't show up to court. Taking unneeded shots. He did his time and paid his dues, its over with lol he's a great kid who made a bad choice, very good running back too.

You have a one track mind, it only thinks about, remembers, justifies Harding matters. What we've read on here is there have been issues at several MOAC games this year. POINT OF REFERENCE....Was it you or another Hardingite that told us what happened at that Harding game happens at other MOAC games all the time.
Who is my team?? ROLF! I'm concerned with more than A "team". What school did one graduate from? What school district does one's children attend? What school district does one live in? Do some research and you might find the answer to your query, ahead of when it WILL become obvious.

Your guessing is lousy. Another additional homework assignment for you. Who was the 13th President of the United States? There is a required American History coarse at Harding right? Do you even know which POTUS Warren was? My point IS, do MORE than just think about and justify things related to Harding. There are ZERO schools in the N10 that would think more than one second about combining with the MOAC....as long as Harding is a member. Only one school in the N10 is larger than the MOAC's smallest school. Harding would be around THREE TIMES larger than the other N-10 schools. You seem to think of Harding as a small rural school. When it is almost identical to Lima Senior and Mansfield Senior. All other schools geographically between Lima and Mansfield are UNLIKE Harding.
