View AttachmentWhen they league officials call and apologize for a play that lead to a touchdown for tiffin, yes, who knows the outcome, tiffin will not beat perkins Sorry, the officials did get it right. Straight out of the rulebook - didn't beleive it myself. The ball hit 6 yards in front of line of scrimmage and was touched by nobody, therefore a lineman can not pick it up, it’s like an incomplete pass. They did mess it up, however, Perkins is the all around better team. They win by a couple scores

Just took a look at the SBC stats, Brockington is having an incredible season. He is leading the SBC in rushing yards, TDs, and interceptions. To carry the ball 20+ times a game and still have the ability to play corner at a high level is impressive. He makes a strong case to be the most impactful player in the conference. With that said, Tiffin has not seen the speed or athletic ability of what Perkins brings. (Sandusky definitely has speed too, I just think Perkins has more threats on the field with an extemely accurate QB.) Can he keep his energy up the whole game because I'm sure he'll be covering many yards on defense as Perkins will definitley challenge Columbian with the deep ball or at least the threat of the deep ball most plays?

The most idiotic score prediction I’ve seen. You’ve really outdone yourself this time. I see Tiffin winning this game as they’ve had a sour taste in their mouth for a year now. I think Tiffin’s skill will overwhelm Perkins. Tiffin 35-14.

Who cares? Just because they are bigger schools doesn’t mean they have the speed Perkins does. Believe it or not…I know it’s a groundbreaking thought… but a smaller division school can be more talented/skilled than a larger division school. Mind blowing right? 🙄 With that said, Tiffin has not seen the speed or athletic ability of what Perkins brings. You realize that Columbian has played Chardon and Bishop Watterson right?

Tiffin was “battle tested” last year too, how’d that work out? The most idiotic score prediction I’ve seen. You’ve really outdone yourself this time. Tiffin is battle tested & a tougher SOS. They will be well prepared for this game. Can’t say the same for Perkins.

Tiffin had 2-8 Holland Springfield and 3-7 Waite. Those were replaced with state power Chardon and Huron. Plus, this year's Bishop Watterson seems a little better than last.

The bottom line is this: Perkins is the better team, with the better players AND coaching staff. Getting boat raced by Bishop Watterson, and OUTLASTING the worst Chardon team in the last 10-15 years isn’t going to change that. If you’ve seen both teams play, and your eyesight is anything better than Stevie Wonder, you know what the pick is. Either way, I’m over talking ball with people who make picks by looking at stat sheets. Perkins, 34-21. See ya Friday night. Tiffin was “battle tested” last year too, how’d that work out? Glad to see this Friday we won’t have to worry about the talk. Tiffin 56-45, defense won’t be the name of the game..just hope both teams play well and don’t have any injuries before their respective playoff runs coming after. 2 extremely talented teams! 56-45….you must be talking about the score of Tiffin vs a bad River Valley team earlier this year. Ain’t no way Tiffin puts either of those numbers on Perkins my guy. I’d be surprised if they got to 30, considering no one else has, including Tiffin last year with all the same major contributors

This is going to be great game. Both teams are battle tested. Tiffin's schedule is better but Perkins may have better position players. Tiffin defense has holes and from what I've seen Perkins makes mistakes to keep teams in games if they aren't playing their best. Both teams are loaded with talent. We should be lucky to have this kind of matchup in week 10. Both teams have earned it. Playoff caliber and both ranked. Tiffin will be a great spot to watch a great game. Always is. Go Blue!

I really think this will be a great game too. Tiffin has had games defensively in which they have not played well, which has been pointed out many times. They've also had times in which they've looked good. I would be shocked if Tiffin didn't show up ready to play. Tiffin is definitely a better team than last year. They only lost 4 starters from last year and Perkins, I beleive, lost way more than that.
To those Perkins posters trying to negate the Chardon win is ridiculous. Chardon would beat any of the 8 teams that Perkins has played so far. They lost 3 close games to state ranked teams and all of a sudden they are a down team. Go schedule them next year and replace your D7 team or your winless Toledo City school abd find out how physical they are.

I know Perkins is talented, but you have not played a team that is expected to make a deep playoff run. You never a know a team's resilience until you've been in those tight situations in the 4th quarter. Oh, and Columbian vould beat Toledo Woodward by 90+ .... LOL

This game will be decided in the trenches and Perkins has the edge. Perkins Defense can match Skill players Columbians offensive skill kids, and have a few left to make plays. Columbian can not match up skill for skill on defense. The OL and DL will make the difference in this game. TC Running back may be the fastest in the league and if he gets loose that will be the difference. If may come down to a field goal and Perkins kids has a big leg. Both teams are good and let's hope both teams stay healthy. It seems Perkins Defense has been call soft all year but keeps holding strong. TC defense gives up a lot of points most weeks. The Pirates need to keep the yellow flags off the field to put up big numbers. Tiffin has to create turnovers to keep the Pirate offense off the field because they may score a lot of points if the QB gets hot. NO prediction just hoping for a great and injury free game. Schedules don't mean a lot now, this is week 10 and a championship on the line. Chardon, Watterson, Rocky River, Edison, Woodmore, Waite etc..... that's all in the past!!!!!

Very good overview of the game. I agree, this game always starts in the trenches. I beielve that TC will provide creases for Brockington . . . he doesn't need much to get to the second level. Stopping Bunts does concern me and of course being in the right position to stop the big play. It seems that Lesch has ran a lot less this year. I'm sure the emergence of Bunts has contributed to this so there must be less designed QB runs, correct? I see that he only has 127 yds rushing (for 7 games worth of stats). Is he making plays with his legs if the play breaks down or is he choosing to extend plays and try to find a receiver that breaks off his route?

Regardless of outcome, this is how the SBC should be final week championship between the 2 best teams in the conference.

I actually like Tiffin in an upset here to get revenge from last year and get the Lake championship. The hungry dog runs faster.
