Can they beat as Scarlet would say, tomato can teams? Can they get more numbers out? Can they actually compete? . 1) yes. Esp smaller cans than we are 2) I think so esp after we get a few wins 3) in the SBC River, yes they can

(2-8) Tiffin wins 40-14 Scooter busy preparing several paragraphs in effort to continue backing up his point. Isn't that the truth. He must be a parent of a kid playing.

Back around 2004 or 2005 when Oney played, Willard won 3-0. 2005 That was after TC lost their starting QB Drew Ardner for the year after IIRC the Fremont Ross game, with a broken collarbone, forcing sophomore Jake Peacock to step in and see his first Varsity action. TC struggled with him in, as you might imagine, so Coach Gilbert came up with a plan, putting their starting FB/RB at QB, running the Wildcat. That FB/RB was none other than TC's current HC Judd Lutz. Who did a helluva job, between he and Josh Moore (at RB), TC had a good year, losing to eventual State Champion Toledo Central Catholic in the playoffs. They rotated Peacock in and out at QB with Judd. (Of course, Coach Lutz probably doesn't have a fond memory of that Willard game, as TC was down 3-0 almost the entire game, and then FINALLY started moving the ball late in the 4th quarter with time running out. They drove down to around the Willard 10 yardline or so, just running the wildcat the whole way with Judd at at QB, and Willard just couldn't stop it...and then on a really tough run up the middle, Judd fumbled, Willard recovered, and that was the ballgame. To this day I still blame my wife. We were standing down along the field, and she made a comment about him hopefully not fumbling (because he was running the ball so much, according to her), and the very next play he fumbled.
