McCord wasn’t ready for this to step up and be the “it” factor. The game was in his hands. He blew it plain and simple.

evidently some of you haven’t been watching Trey Henderson the last 2-3 games. He’s healthy , he’s got fresh legs and he’s red hot. Btw— how is mich going to cover Marv , cover Stover, cover EE and slow down Trey ? And on offense how are they gonna block JT and Sawyer when their OT’s can’t block “average DE’s” let alone good ones like we’ve got . Their wr’s haven’t faced db’s like ours either. Mich has peaked imo. While OSU continues to get better. good thing regarding last sentence, otherwise, last two years

We needed them guys to play and they were average at best. Coaching or players not rising to the occasion?

Michigan had 5.8 yds per carry in the 2nd half plus they threw it better than I thought they would. It was a team effort in the loss. The defense couldn't stop them in the 2nd half and the offense turned the ball over to give Michigan the lead in the 1st half. Deadly combination. I would kind of like to see the Buckeyes play Alabama in a New Year's Bowl but I'm not sure if that is possible.

As far as the 2023 Buckeyes go, I’m done seeing it. There was a hint of timid play calling all game. I’m not naive and wasn’t expecting deep balls to Harrison each drive, but there were plenty of setups during this game and the Buckeyes choose conservatism over everything. Michigan didn’t. I know how it goes but watching us lose the last three years in a row, won’t make winning next year, if that happens, make up for the last three years. Call me crazy, but it just blows my mind how a substantially superior talented football team loses like this. Knowles, Day, and company better get their heads out of their *** because whether they are company man or not Urban and Jim were far better than the product we are seeing.

Day is a pusscookie. He should be in the FCS learning how to be a head coach. The issue is Ohio State does not want an Urban Meyer and they are content to finish in the 3 or 4 spot in the Big10. They want someone that won’t step out of line. Look at how Michigan defended Hairball. Ohio State would never do that. The university is controlled by pansies.
On to some bullshit also ran bowl game where anyone with an nfl future will be wearing sweats.

Buckeyes has their chance and blew it. I would have rather McCord ate it and took a sack than throw an INT. Another year of true misery. No way can you take a sack at that point with no timeouts left. It was just an unfortunate play where he got hit while throwing it. If you really want to fault someone then blame 74 for letting Herrell slip off him on that twist. I suppose McCord could have checked down to Henderson but he’s coached not to do that in that situation. If Henderson doesn’t get the first OSU could be down to potentially less than ten seconds. I’d try to gun it to Marv as well given my options.

Getting better? They're losing Harrison, Henderson, Ebuka, Tuimoloa, Burke, Sawyer, Hall, Eichenburg, Stover and a slew of others and still have McCord at QB with no Harrison to bail him out. evidently some of you haven’t been watching Trey Henderson the last 2-3 games. The meltdown OSU fans are having over Roman Wilson is something else. Totally cool when OSU players took some digs at Michigan when they won but Michigan does it? Crying rivers.
Edit: OSU’s WR coach deciding to chime in on Instagram to run his jaws about it is priceless. Validates everything Roman said.

Came down to better execution by a vet QB vs a first year starter. And mich special teams were superior all around .
Maybe harb getting suspended was a blessing in disguise in the short term . Moore called a great game and all his 4th down gambles paid off.
PS — mildly surprised at the lack of pressure by our DE’s. No blitzes either to speak of. When your behind in the 2nd half you need to take some chances on defense but we never did.

Games tied 17-17 and Buckeyes just play vanilla defense. Another miserable 365 until next year.
On the not so bright side, Buckeye nation is getting a taste of what it’s like being on the losing end for once in a long time.
If McCord is our only option next year, we are in trouble. With the players leaving, buckeyes could be looking at a 3 loss season.

the entire big landscape is changing next year. Mich schedule is brutal . With their departures and penalties that are yet to come— i see 4-5 losses for them I also think Harb leaves as inside the AD hes not well liked and i think he takes an nfl job possibly.

That wasn't going to help, sacrificed field position with kickoff, and gave OSU an opportunity to steal one. I can see why there were no defensive chances Xoxo, Donovan Edwards

They'll reload and be fine I wouldn’t say I’m hitting the panic button just yet. Something has got to give though, it’s not as if the Buckeyes didn’t have good teams and we’re just completely out matched. What I don’t want is to get over the jump against a depleted Michigan team hampered by sanctions and all that jazz. That may very well be the reality but I want it the hard way, not the easy way. Lincoln Kienholz has a opportunity next year to steal the job and bring back the Buckeyes. Call me crazy, but McCord isn’t the answer, so can Kienholz be it.

Deep down, I prefer he didn't say that, but as Redskin stated, potshots have been said by Buckeyes and I don't think anyone had a problem. Don't like it, win the game
And, if you're hard-core Football, what's laughable was what Harrison wore. That's Russell Westbrook Diva.
