Looks like a classic matchup. When was the last time these 2 entered their annual week 10 showdown with both teams unbeaten?
Also, both teams have already clinched home games, so there's no chance of an immediate rematch in week 11.

Having seen both teams play, I think it comes down to who does a better job of shutting down the other teams running game, as both teams are heavily run oriented and like to pass on their own terms. Thinking it will be a close game throughout. BellevueBuckeye, I don't know if BOTH teams have ever been unbeaten entering this week 10 showdown, but I will let someone else research that.

Teams have never been 9-0 going into final game of the season. Last (& possible only) time that they have met in the final game of the season and both were undefeated in conference play was in 2007 (I'm not sure prior to the 1991 season). They both came in at 6-0. St. Paul won that game 21-6. There have been several other season where 1 game separates the 2 schools from the FC Championship (1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2003) but they never played each other in the final game to determine it. They played each other earlier in the season.

I like the Eagles this year. I heard that Anderson may be back, so he and Millis can tag-team again. M'ville hasn't been bad through the air, either, especially on defense.

I was hoping so too, but St. Paul won 14-8

Great, great game, though. Someone said about 3K in attendance - wouldn't be surprised. Stands filled, people standing completely surrounding the sidelines (minus player areas of course), sometimes five or more deep. Got there are six, and I was lucky to find parking in front of St. Joe's.
