As long as it's not misreported, there's a huge upset with #8 Philo stomping #1 Heath in our region 42-7.
Which would pair Shelby with Philo with a location TBD. Halfway between Shelby and Philo is Mt. Vernon...not sure what venues are out there for OHSAA to consider though...?

they usually give MT Vernon to bigger schools at this point, but it would be a perfect midpoint between the schools

Unless something dramatic happens in either of these games, Shelby and New Philo are going to play next week. Where would the game be hosted? I know it is played at a neutral site, but what schools between the two have turf fields? Canton area? Wooster maybe? Phiio is South East of Zanesville. If not Mt.V then Delaware, Newark, New Philly, a Columbus school on the East side.

Shelby would love to make a Mt Vernon trip I'm guessing.

I've been through Philo, found it hard to believe they were DIV. The population is around 700 and they have around 1600 kids in the school system. The District must take in a large geographic area on both sides of the Muskingum River South of Zanesville. Not much down there between Marietta and and Zanesville.

"New Philo"...must have been thinking of New Philadelphia (New Philly).
