Sorry bigox, but some people are helpless. I never mentioned CC's roster. It was Upper that I was told may not begin the season with a full roster. Yes Upper has one player missing the first six games. And lost one player to transfer. As far as the rest of the roster they lost three role playing seniors to graduation. Return starting point guard shooting guard and forward. Four seniors four juniors three sophomores and two freshmen round out the varsity That player is technically out the first eight games with the chance to reduce it to six if certain conditions are met.

Well that's news to me that it is 8 games. Where you get you information about that from usramfan? I have never heard of any "conditions." Only what the school had decided according to the conduct code.

Which should have been 4 games but I know first hand Winslow picked up two more as "more diciplanrey"

Rams play Willard Friday night then New Riegel on saturday. Both games hopefully will be fun to watch. Miss the days of the NOL when Willard was the team to beat in basketball every year. Looking to see how good compared with last year Upper will be. Have the potential for another good year. New Riegel should be competitive from what I have read. Think Galion will have their hands full with Bucyrus. Only other game imo that may be interesting is the Seneca East v Calvert game. I look for Calvert to take it.

^^^ I think you're right about Galion and Bucyrus. I believe Galion has a small talent advantage in this one but are coached by a 6th grade coach so it could be a long season. Also, Bucyrus will be much improved from last year IMO.

So I'm sure his heart is there. Gotta start somewhere☺☺

It's what you get when no one else wants it. At least this guy said I'll do it for ya.

On the other thread you said that Galion turned down all of these experienced coaches and now you're saying that no one else wanted it. Which one is it Scooter?

I spoke with 2 guys I was told applied. One pulled his name after being interviewed and getting some questions answered and the other never did officially apply.

Ok so essentially you either lied or stretched the truth on the other thread and the hire went down just as I said it did.

I was told of 2 guys who applied and that is what I was going on in early comments. After the hire I found out a quality candidate pulled his name after the interview and some of the questions he asked. The other gentleman called and asked about the job but did not officially submit anything for him to be considered.

I know that there were much more qualified candidates that applied. They did not pull their names out and were never offered the job. It must just be diffferent guys than the people scooter heard about. I'm not going to get into this again though especially in the N10 forum.

Upper Sandusky claims the outright N10 championship. Defeating Wynford 96-56 In doing so Jevon Dible ties John Deibler for most 3 pointers made in a game 11.( John did it 3 times) Rams also went 21-35 from 3 putting them in a 4 way tie for most 3 point goals in a game in the state.

Wynford must be improving. They scored over 20 points more than the first time playing Upper and have been winning more often.

Wynford was better than the first time Upper played them although still couldn't handle the ball pressure on defense and couldn't keep up with Uppers shooters.

Ontario 53, CC 37
Ontario led 29-13 at halftime and by 31 at 48-17 with 3:41 left in the 3rd quarter. Balogh called of his troops in the 4th quarter.
Since this is most likely is the last time Ontario and CC will play. Ontario leads the series 51-19

Just saw the CC score from last night. They really went big at the end of season to prepare for the D4 tournament. Sheldon knows he has a very young team playing 3-4 freshman in quality minutes.

I was told by a CC fan that 4 Juniors didn't go out this year when the Freshman were moved ahead of them. Their JV team didn't have much. Sheldon is building for something big in 2 or 3 years. They'll get away from St.Petes next year, as I also was told they're moving up to DIII. probably for good. Except for St.Petes, DIII could be more problematic.
