Really? Just out of curiosity where were all these "athletes" last year? Thinking if PC had them on the bench that they would have gotten a chance to play given the score? Hartley used their JV last year so I assumed PC would have done the same. PC put up 25 points and 400+ yards of offense on Hartley last year. We got overpowered upfront on defense in a major way and that's why we lost not because of a lack of athlete's. I HOPE you are BRIGHT enough to REALIZE that BHHS put in the JV at HALF TIME OF THIS GAME (BTW, who scored on the PC FIRST TEAM!) as a sign of GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP! But if that is ALL you HAVE then GOOD FOR YOU! If you THINK that this years TEAM is not ANY DIFFERENT if not BETTER than LAST YEARS TEAM you setting yourself up for a RUDE AWAKENING from your DELUSIONAL state. Just like JA last week, it will be a LONG night for PC starting EARLY! I would stock up on the Alcohol for the LONG DRIVE HOME to PC!

Like USUAL, this is COMPLETE SOUR GRAPES AND JEALOUSY! Just like a TRUMP supporter to WHINE about a FIXED system and bring up CHARGES that have NO BASIS IN FACT! BOO HOO! Not Sour Grapes - but TRUTH. Your TRUTH! TOO bad the OSHAA DOES NOT AGREE WITH YOU!

Port Clinton put up a great game last year. I just hope Heartly tries to onside kick the ball 4 times again this year. This is also a practical home game for PC unlike the 3.5 drive to Columbus last year. Can't wait to see how many people Hartley brings to this game in Tiffin I am sure it won't be many. LOL! What DIFFERENCE does that make? Actually this makes the GAME MORE for ENJOYABLE for BHHS as you get to WATCH ALL the CRYING and SAD FACES from PC leaving the GAME AFTER THEY TAKE THEIR BEATING (I get it, EVERYONE wants their team to win, but you REALLY have to be REALISTIC in your EXPECTATIONS and INSULTING the other TEAMS success and accomplishments is NOT the ANSWER that will CHANGE the OUTCOME, IT IS WHAT IT IS)! Reminds me of watching the BIG RED "fans" from LAST SEASON, the SHOCKED faces at the SHOE and again on TV were PRICELESS!

The OHSAA honestly would LOVE PC advance. Why? Cause the definitely would travel a heck of a lot better than Hartley would.
With the Smaller private schools that are ion large metropolitan areas that can draw kids from an hour away, compare that to the school that the majority of kids live within 10 mins. Huge difference in the talent pool to chose from. HUGE. And if you argue that, then you are down right crazy!

It is ALSO SHAMEFUL that you would seek to MINIMIZE the WORK and EFFORT of the BH players WHO spend their time giving it their ALL at PRACTICE and DURING the OFF SEASON due to some POLITICAL AGENDA of yours. REALLY SAD as the BH players should not have the "fruits of THEIR labor" disregarded. At the end of the DAY, where the PARENT decides to send their STUDENT to school has NOTHING TO DO with the KIDS!

Funny. When the OHSAA finally places a system in place that actually deals with competitive balance,, then we will talk. Moves teams like TCC and Hartley to where they really belong, D2.
Move on troll. Do you think you get ANY respect COMING on a MESSAGE board that the majority of fans send their KIDS to public schools?

Move on troll. Do you think you get ANY respect COMING on a MESSAGE board that the majority of fans send their KIDS to public schools? LOL! The ONLY TROLL I see is you I am afraid. Again Competitive Balance is being attempted due to the "cry baby" PUBLIC schools looking for a HANDOUT and something that they cannot accomplish WITHOUT HELP. Really not going to CHANGE anything I am afraid and you really should BRUSH UP on your MATH if you believe TCC and/or HARTLEY will be in D2. In the MEANTIME you can sit there for THIS season and wallow in your SELF-PITY and watch the QUALITY teams RACK up this years STATE titles at the SHOE! Good for YOU sending your KIDS to a PUBLIC school as is YOUR CHOICE, SHAME you have to make yourself feel better about YOUR CHOICE by PULLING DOWN OTHERS and THEIR KIDS! SO VERY SAD!

Some facts:
Port Clinton has a population of 6,033 Port Clinton has about 10 square miles
Columbus is just under 1,000,000 people
Big DIFFERENCE.
How many Special Ed kids does Hartley serve?

SOME ADDITIONAL FACTS: The Population of Columbus plays no ROLE in Competitive advantage since there are SEVERAL PRIVATE Schools in COLUMBUS DRAWING from their OWN designated FEEDER schools. BH BARELY QUALIFIES as a D4 school school in Football by a few and I mean few MALE students so any MULTIPLIER will not matter much if at all as 98% of the current PLAYERS come from designated FEEDER schools. EXPECT TO SEE BH REMAIN AT D4 NEXT YEAR! SORRY FOR YOU. (You may start crying here!) If PC has Special Ed kids on your football team, good for you! If any Special Ed kids want to come to BH, have at it (as it is federal law)! Again, it is the PARENTS CHOICE where to send their kids. If you want to MAKE the SACRIFICES that PRIVATE SCHOOL PARENTS make than that is UP TO YOU! But it seems you want something for nothing. TYPICAL! DOES NOT CHANGE THE OUTCOME OF THIS FRIDAYS GAME! Your stunning INTELLECT really SPEAKS to you being a BROWNS fan! LOL

Some facts: Port Clinton has a population of 6,033 Port Clinton has about 10 square miles Not trying to take anything away from your point, but PC's school district population is 13,596 (as of 2010) But yeah, tiny in comparison of the 850,000 in the city of Columbus (and 1.3 million in the immediate metro area)

What feeder schools are considered for BH?
So BH does NOT have any kids from outside the Linwood area? Since you are so brilliant on this subject, enlighten the rest of us? On BH website it lists busing from the following systems:
BLOOM CARROLL SCHOOLS CANAL WINCHESTER SCHOOLS COLUMBUS PUBLIC SCHOOLS GAHANNA SCHOOLS GROVEPORT SCHOOLS (PETERMAN TRANSPORTATION) HAMILTON LOCAL SCHOOLS LAKEWOOD LOCAL SCHOOLS LANCASTER CITY SCHOOLS LICKING HEIGHTS NEW ALBANY SCHOOLS PICKERINGTON SCHOOLS (PETERMAN TRANSPORTATION) REYNOLDSBURG SCHOOLS SOUTHWESTERN CITY SCHOOLS SW LICKING SCHOOLS WESTERVILLE CITY SCHOOLS WHITEHALL SCHOOLS

It's funny whenever someone brings up this debate, the public school is "crying all the time" and the private side answers with Your stunning INTELLECT really SPEAKS to you being a BROWNS fan! LOL
Now we resort to insults?
Quit fooling yourselves here. Good Public schools work with the kids that they have.
I compare this to the Toledo Area. Central has been reaching as far as woodmore (40 mils away) and getting kids to come there. When a kid leaves a D5 school and is recruitable, that devastates that small school who likely relies on that kid to be a player for them.
Sir, we do not have any major private schools in our area (within 30 minutes) that kids go to. ANd if my kids lived in some of the areas which are around Hartley, they would prob go to Hartley.

That really sounds like a PERSONAL problem and does not give REASON to BERATE those families that do have access to these schools and CHOOSE to EDUCATE their CHILDREN in PRIVATE schools. Very unfortunate that your community chooses NOT to support a PRIVATE school but being ENVIOUS is such a shame.

In all seriousness, what makes PC confident things will be much different than last year? Are either teams better than their teams last year? Both running backs are back, correct? Obviously both are studs.

Obviously both are studs. GAME DAY! WOO HOO! THINK I HEAR THE BELL TOLLING FOR PC! After watching EVERY BHHS GAME for the last 3 years in person, I can tell you that this years BHHS team is BETTER than LAST seasons STATE CHAMPIONSHIP team ESPECIALLY ON DEFENSE! EVERY STUD RB that BHHS has played this season had their WORST rushing day verses the HAWKS and that INCLUDES DESALES, TCC and READY (ALL WITH SUPPOSED D1 RB's)! This is really a SAN DIEGO STATE VS OSU situation but hey, it is a GREAT day to PLAY some FOOTBALL! Hope that PC plays with some SPORTSMANSHIP and not this "OUT FOR BLOOD" stuff that you see that their PLAYERS are POSTING on social media and in the local papers. What a SHAME to take it there as NO ONE should be looking to INJURE ANYONE on purpose!

I do believe that quote was in the newsless Herald... With that being said.. PC players play the game correctly. Coach Carmen does not put up with dirty or foul play. Saurak I like your passion for your team. This is new territory for the skins. Hope both teams play their best games tonight. As far as pc rb being a stud he is.. Where I think he'll be affective against the hawks def is catching the ball. Anyways safe travels up 53 for your team an safe travels down 53 for the PC fans.
