Does anyone give Lexington a chance in this game? What do the Minutemen need to do to win or at least keep it close?

They need to slow the game down and keep Sandusky offense on the sidelines. Lex offense isn't built to come from behind more than a score or two...I watched the Lex at Clyde game and Lex clock management is terrible. It didn't appear they have any sort of no huddle or hurry up offense, they almost always huddle...even when the clock isn't on their side??? That said, they showed tremendous heart and their defense is legit...though I don't think they have seen as much speed at as many positions as Sandusky is gonna bring to the game on both sides of the ball...Lex has a chance but they better be able to move the chains and have some slow, methodical drives to make it a low scoring game...

If Sandusky plays a clean game (no turnovers, few penalties, etc.) they should win this game by 14+.

The Lexington defense is pretty good but they are the same guys who play offense. Against a good athletic team it could really be a problem.

Lex needs to win the turnover battle. Don't make any drive killing penalties on offense or drive extending penalties on defense. Keep the Sandusky offense off the field by converting on 3rd down. No different than what any underdog has to do when playing a team with more overall speed.

Sandusky is looking ahead but they are good enough to overcome that. Still smelling potential upset though with their over confidence.

^^^Sandusky is looking at TCC in week 13? Seen that happen before. Yes. Hard not to after a blowout win last week and another big underdog this week. But...that's why they play the game.

For whatever reason I think a lot of people have underestimated Sandusky this season. This team is very good.

They are not underestimating themselves. That's for sure. They have a lot to be confident about. They have rolled and are continuing to get better. If that continues this week, a match up vs Central Catholic would be fun.

9-7 Sandusky. Sloppy offensive game by both teams. Great defensive match up so far tho.

tchldad, What I can't believe (or maybe I should considering it came from the Sandusky Register) that they reported the score as Lex 31 and Sandtown 19. They were messing up the scores and quarters and at one time they reported Eastwood won over Edison 32 to 10 when the game was only 5 minutes old. And they want us to pay 75 cents a day and I think it's $2.00 on Sunday. They along with a lot of other papers want to much money for what we get.

Amazing how the lower seeds keep winning, Along with the Columbus area and Toledo area all star teams. It'll be another running clock win for TCC, Again.
