Thoughts on this one? Eastwood loves to run the ball, Edison is pretty stout defending it. Eastwood susceptible to the pass although Edison runs a lot.

These two have a common opponent in Oak Harbor.
Oak Harbor-35 Eastwood-28
Edison- 49 Oak Harbor-7
So long as Edison shows up to play. They should win.

Edison being the visitors get the worse bleachers probably in the entire second round totally agree. Can't believe they still haven't done anything with those yet. Sat in those way too many times

Sat in those way too many times Please feel free to donate money to help defray the costs of replacing them. We're still paying off the original stadium work.

Fremont visitor bleachers compared to the following pale in comparison: Clyde Bellevue Sandusky Perkins Huron Tiffin
Parking: Sandusky Clyde Bellevue
Home Side All great
Honestly, when you at look Fremont, Huron, and Tiffin you simply have to plan 15-20 minutes ahead just to find a parking spot.
(all of which got games this week).

Regarding the parking situation at The Don. If the Fremont City Schools bond issue passes tomorrow, two elementary schools, including Stamm School, which is next to the stadium, will be closed and torn down. That will open up a lot more space for stadium parking. Unfortunately, the visiting stands are not going to be dealt with until the current debt on the stadium improvements already done are paid off. If the Fremont bond issue passes, five of the seven elementary schools we bill torn down and replaced and Ross High will be torn down and replaced as well. All schools will remain at their current locations. Stamm and Hayes will be closed and torn down.

I am taxed enough already. Going for 6 new school buildings is biting off a bit too much at one time.

I don't mind the parking situations in Fremont, Huron & Tiffin, I already know I have to arrive 15-20 mins. earlier than normal, To walk off the calories I'm going to eat from the concession stands, pizza, a hotdog, popcorn, etc. Been that way for years, I like it.

Keith - I could be wrong, but here are a couple of things I heard this year.
1. The stadium turf will be replaced this offseason. True? 2. They are going to move the visitors side back this offseason, perhaps do something different with visitors seating? Raise it? get rid of the concession stand behind and move it somewhere else?
I heard those two things from a St. Joe source.
As for parking, I've never needed more than 5 minutes to find a spot. Just know where you want to park before you get there, plan on arriving on time and enjoy.

It is my understanding that the visitors stands will be moved back and the field moved several feet to the east, which will help with view on the home side. It would only make sense to replace the turf, which is 12 years old. As far as the bond issue goes, I think it will pass.

How's Edison defend the run? Eastwood will run it at them 45+ times.
Stoll seems to be the real deal. He runs hard. How many guys does Edison have going both ways?

Saw Edison a few times this year including last week. They are very tough against the run. Their front three are solid and were constantly putting pressure on the QB. Very good linebacker core too.
Yes Stoll is the real deal!

As good as Stoll is they have several other weapons that can burn you. Very good Edison team.
