i think in ways Michigan QB was not healthy and it cost his team. They didnt throw any balls more than 20 yards down field. He had 219 yards on 23 completions less than 10 yards a catch. Most of his passes were 3 yarders out in the slots. Michigan running game was non-existant. Michigan 43 rushes for 91 yards 2.1 per rush. And 3 very costly turnovers.
i kept yelling at Barrett to take off when Michigan applied heavy pressure. He stayed in the pocket way to long.. Its OK not to throw the ball and run. Had he done this alot sooner in the game, It wouldve opened up alot more options for him. Thank god he finally did do it late in the game.
The officiating wasnt good. But neither were alot of decisions by the two QBs. The 4th and inches spot. the play previous was a disaster for michigan defense. You have a runner trapped, you allow him to run clear to the other side of the field and set up a 4th and inches.
overall a classic game. one for the ages.

Has anyone else on here seen the overhead photo of the disputed 4th and 1 placement? It absolutely illustrates the officials got it exactly right. The ball was placed precisely where it should have been. What I'm wondering, did the review officials see this overhead snap shot, along with the video replay?

So that means the game comes on at 9am on the West Coast. Breakfast battle of the Big Ten. Sports bars are going to take a hit. THE game had a 10.4 TV rating, by far the highest rated college football game of the season. The second highest rated game? Texas and ND back in September had a rating of 7.0. THAT is why tradition trumps all else.

Harbaugh had better take care of his health. If he continually rants like Sat., he'll stroke out/have a heart attack right on the sidelines for sure.

The 4th quarter yards to me and the way we moved the football in it and OT really is a shout out to conditioning and coaching---both of which favored OSU. UM may have a legit gripe on the pass interference calls, but a team can't rely on calls going your way on the road. You have to play through that and make plays. OSU was making plays the whole 4th and in OT. UM was pedestrian in the 4th and OT which is why they lost. Say what you will about JT and not being an NFL QB,,which it appears as though he isn't---but when the pressure is really on and in critical moments--- he executes and this will go down in history for Buckeye fans. JT is 3-0 against U of M, after next year he will be 4-0 in THE most important game of the year, EVERY year. How many OSU QB's can say that? He is a WINNER, a leader of men. When the going gets tough, JT finds a way for his TEAM to win the biggest game of the year.

The deep ball was perfectly placed as you said and receiver had a step on the defender. But defender was lengthy and got an arm up to break up the pass from ever touching the receiver. Hopefully osu can play more vertical in the playoff. The defender also had a hold of Brows left arm, also giving him the leverage to reach out as far as he did to barely touch the ball. The reason Brown didn't have a chance of catching the ball. Do you hear Urban ranting about that bad call? That childish stuff is above anyone with anything to do with Ohio State. We'll leave the stupid whining to Harbaugh. The REAL reason for his rants is that he knows he lost his best chance this year to beat Ohio State. At this point he has no idea when he will have a better chance.

Could UM be growing tired of his video clips that keep getting attention? Besides a stroke the guy doesn't seem to far from a white jacket.

As long as he wins the UM faithful will tolerate JH. If he falters and goes 8-4 or something like that, they won't stand for it. I just looked up their 2017 schedule Florida(played in Arlington Tex) at Indiana MSU at Penn St at Wisc OSU Six tough games where they will tested big time.

The most glaring and revealing statistic of all, was the 4th quarter stats. Ohio State put it all together, with a dominant performance in the last quarter, garnering 127 yards of offense, while the defense held Michigan in check with only 5 yards of total offense! That is correct, only 5 yards of offense for the entire 4th quarter!
That gets me back to what Willard Fillmore alluded earlier, one team was running out of gas, while the other was displaying their superior conditioning and endurance, can be the only explanation. (OK, throw some outstanding, late game coaching into the mix as well)

This season was set-up perfectly for Michigan....
1. Schedule was fairly basic (sort of lucked out with Colorado being solid) 2. Veteran squad at every key position
I actually put most of the blame on that loss for Michigan on JH. Some moronic offensive play calling, sideline antics which cost is team yards, etc.
Also, I think Peppers is the most overrated Michigan player I've ever watched.

Whatever shot Peppers had at the Heisman is over with after this game. He is overrated without a doubt. Our defense was impressive and kept us in this game. Special teams play, specifically the FG team needs some serious work. One of the worst OSU has had in a long time.

Tyler Durbin hadn't missed a field goal attempt coming into the game. He missed a few on Saturday that he's made all season long. Far from the worst OSU has had in a long time.

Much like last, the Buckeyes silenced Jabrill Peppers. Depending on whom you speak to, electrifying or over-rated, we won't have to concern ourselves with him next year. He will be gone.

Evidently, one of the perpetrators has been killed by police and the way the press release stated, makes one wonder that there may be more than one attacker involved. If that's the case, hope he/they meets the same fate.
Reportedly, seven injured, but none are life threatening injuries, thank God.
Prayers to the innocent victims of the horrific assault on the students of this learning institution.

Peppers was not very impressive to me. Find a replay of the game. I found more than one. Look carefully at the very end of the replay, after the game is over and people from the stands have come onto the field. Look carefully for a few seconds where ABC shows Harbaugh being rushed off the field by 5 policemen. If you can slow it down to frame by frame, you will see some amazing things. First you'll see a white bushy haired guy going fast in the opposite direction, it sure looks like coach Coombs, who had pulled Peppers off the guy that he punched in the face, he tries to get Harbaugh's attention, but the group of 5 policeman and Harbaugh pay no attention and appear to speed up. Harbaugh and the policemen catch up to Peppers and a game referee who is pointing at Peppers and trying to get the attention of Peppers, Harbaugh and/or a policeman. Harbaugh never looks at the referee, but at one point a policeman looks right at the Ref. The Ref continues to point right at Peppers face mask with his right arm extended and has his left hand resting on Pepper's shoulder pads. Now a guy comes into the picture wearing a Michigan jacket. The Ref is still trying to get someone to talk to him about Peppers as he continues to point at him. At this point Harbaugh tries to get between the Ref and Peppers and the guy in the Michigan Jacket comes toward the Ref. At that point the Ref takes off running as fast as he can. The referee was the Back Judge. There was a large B on the back of his stripped shirt/jacket. I have never heard of a Ref trying to chase down a Head Coach and or player after the game is over. GAME OVER! The officials ALWAYS immediately take off running to their locker room, escorted by police, due to safety concerns. This referee went against procedure. Was not concerned about his safety. He REALLY wanted to talk to Peppers and Harbaugh. An above and beyond move. What was so important for an official to do this, that he was willing to risk his personal safety? I think it's quite obvious. I will be disappointed if Pepper's isn't suspended for U of M's Bowl game AND If Harbaugh has an ounce of ethics in him he should take the lead and do it himself. Urban did it for far less, Remember when a player was ejected from the game in the ruckus after a kick off return against U of M a few years ago? When the player was going through the tunnel to leave the field he gave a double "bird" to the U of M fans yelling at him. Urban suspended the player for the next game. What Peppers did was FAR worse. Step up Harbaugh and be a REAL head coach. Be a grown man. This is long, but it will be well worth your time to find a replay of the game and watch a very unusual post game occurrence.

I too would love to see this video. I haven't seen any reports from anyone other than WF, mentioning anyone getting punched out by Peppers. Only reports I have read about the incident was, Peppers shoved a fan out of the way that ran in front of him or got in his face. If in fact, he punched out a fan, the actions should be deemed reprehensible and penalty a severe one.

Just saw on Fox 8 News, Jim Harbaugh fined $10,000 for criticizing game officials. Nothing about Peppers attacking a fan. If that is true, He should get more than a bowl game suspension, should face criminal charges, even if the fan provoked it. Still need to leave the field.

The Big Ten assessed a $10,000 fine against the school, not Jim Harbaugh. The Coach committing the infraction should have been fined, not UM. The fact they were fining an institution, not an individual, the fine should have been dramatically more severe to put some semblance of punishment with it....say 100,000 or more. Also, Harbaugh should be put on notice, that further misconduct, would constitute further, specific penalties.

I told you to go PAST the altercation to the very very end of the replay. AT THE POINT Harbaugh is being escorted off the field by 5 policemen and watch what happens, frame by frame.

Sure would like to watch what you were viewing W.F., I can't find it, to watch. I've seen it on more than one replay of the game on YouTube. It's at the very very end. You have to look for Harbaugh being quickly escorted off the field by 5 policemen. Found it.... YouTube 2016 Ohio State Michigan 11/26/16 Full Game 1080p60. Go to the very end, at the 2:56:22 mark. Watch it frame by frame if you can.

Google this - video of peppers punching fan. It's also on 11warriors, way down the list now. Watch it frame by frame by clicking and reclicking and reclicking...... on the video. Watch and decide. Luckily for the guy Coach Coombs was right there when it happened.
