The Big Ten needs to fix how they select Division Champs
Urban Meyer in Regular Season Big Ten games 2012 8-0 nothing 2013 8-0 nothing - at least he got to play for one 2014 8-0 Big Ten Champs 2015 7-1 nothing 2016 8-1 nothing
He is 39-2 in Big Ten Regular season games the last 5 years, yet only has 1 Big Ten Championship and has only gotten in the Title Game twice. Something is wrong with this, 5 years 1 Big Ten Championship for Urban Meyer
Home and Away is huge Ohio State - 7-0 at home 4-1 on the road Michigan - 8-0 at home 2-2 on the road Penn State - 7-0 at home 3-2 on the road
Ohio State road games W (9-2) Oklahoma W (10-2) Wisconsin L (10-2) Penn State W (6-6) Maryland W (3-9) Michigan State Ohio State 2-1 on the road vs above .500 teams
Michigan road games W (2-10) Rutgers W (3-9) Michigan State L (8-4) Iowa L (11-) Ohio State Michigan 0-2 on the road vs above .500 teams
Penn State L (8-4) Pittsburgh L (10-2) Michigan W (3-9) Purdue W (6-6) Indiana W (2-10) Rutgers Penn State 0-2 on the road vs above .500 teams
Maybe the tiebreaker should be like the NFL tiebreaker, Opponents W/L record. Penn State is getting credit for receiving a HOME game vs OSU. Penn State can't win vs good teams on the Road.

I would MUCH rather be in Ohio State's shoes, in regards to making the Four Team Playoff. They're in. IF they played another game and lost(the Big Ten Title game), they'd be out. This way they are IN the Four Team Playoff, a MUCH bigger thing than a Big Ten Title. AND have an extra week to heal injuries and an extra week to prepare for the next game, that the other three teams won't have. Ohio State hasn't had a week off since September. Urban is 42-2 when he's had at least 2 weeks to prepare for a game.

I don't care about a worthless Championship that is based on random gerrymandering and unbalanced schedules. Just get to the Final Four.

TRUTH! As far as recruiting goes, other than having 12 players go in the top 4 rounds of the NFL draft. Playing for a National Championship, as opposed a Conference Title, means MUCH MUCH more.

Folks, we need to acknowledge an unmistakable reality. The Big Ten Conference two best teams played a double O.T. game before 110,465 fans and before a nationwide audience of an estimated 15 million viewers. Nobody's kidding anyone, essentially, the Big Ten Championship has already been played.
The most important fact is......Ohio State is a lock for the playoffs....A Lock
An ESPN panel was having a discussion on 'who's in and who's not' You can guess Mark May's stance.
The Playoff committee has Ohio State their solid #2 and just defeated their #3 team....no brainer, OSU will remain the #2 spot and if by chance Alabama gets upset in the SEC Championship game, expect Alabama and OSU to swap positions.

If taking the top 4 teams, OSU is in. If taking the top 4 conference champions, Barry with need a win to sweet talk his Badgers in.

If Wisconsin beats Penn State, that means Ohio State is a one loss team that has beaten 2 of the 5 Power Conference Champions.

Currently the Badgers are favored.

5 years as head coach at Ohio State, Urban Meyer has little more to prove and has put the Big Ten in the national limelight since his arrival, but "Coach of the Year' awards continue to elude the B1G's premiere coach.
