My guess after conference championships are played....
1. Alabama 2. Ohio State 3. Washington 4. Clemson
Alabama/Clemson in Atlanta (keeps both fan bases close to home)
Ohio State/Washington in Phoenix (lets those Washington fans stay somewhat close to home and draws the west coast TV market)
I personally think this is the dream scenario for the college football playoff committee. I'm guessing they will probably have to send Clemson out West though so Alabama has a clear cut home field advantage in round 1.
I just have hard time seeing a bunch of upsets this weekend. Maybe Colorado wins...

To the people listening to ESPN and other news outlets....They need ratings, they will have 50 different scenarios of what could happen, whos in, whos out, etc.
Here's my advice...
Follow the Vegas odds over the next week or so, especially this weekend. They will lead you in the right direction.

NCAA Football Strength of Schedule Rankings
1 Ohio State (11-1) 13.1 1 56 1 2 Michigan (10-2) 11.7 2 75 15 3 Alabama (12-0) 10.5 1 40 2 4 LSU (7-4) 9.5 4 26 7 5 Wisconsin (10-2) 9.3 1 44 3 6 USC (9-3) 9.3 1 20 4 7 Auburn (8-4) 8.4 7 30 17 8 Florida St (9-3) 8.3 1 22 8 9 Clemson (11-1) 8.2 1 17 5 10 Oklahoma (9-2) 7.8 1 18 11 11 Colorado (10-2) 7.2 10 115 10 12 Stanford (9-3) 7.0 2 63 6 13 Mississippi (5-7) 7.0 2 13 9 14 Penn State (10-2) 6.6 13 70 13 15 Texas A&M (8-4) 5.7 2 30 20 16 Louisville (9-3) 5.6 2 106 12 17 Washington (11-1) 5.5 12 103 33 18 Miami (FL) (8-4) 5.3 17 118 19 19 Pittsburgh (8-4) 5.3 15 102 16 20 UCLA (4-8) 5.2 6 21 14
Even SEC promoters and cheerleaders on ESPN grudgingly admit the Big Ten is the premiere conference in football.
Now we know why Ohio State is ranked #2 by the playoff committee, AP, Coaches Poll, despite their horrendous 11-1 record.
#2 Ohio State defeating #3 in the last game of the year and clash of the two best teams in the Big Ten, puts them in a tremendous position of strength with the committee, befitting of their leading position in SOS. They are a solid lock on #2, just as Alabama is a solid lock on #1, barring an upset in the SEC Championship game, in which case the Buckeyes would take their top spot.
Final Playoff Committee Standings 1. Alabama 2. Ohio State 3. Clemson 4. Penn State/Wisconsin Winner or Washington....(stay tuned)

I'm feeling confident playing Washington or Clemson forsure as an osu fan. Clemson has struggled with a lot of bad teams. So we'll see if they go to #4 for final or not.

There is a remote possibility that U of M makes the Final Four Playoff with Ohio State. Quite a few pundits think they are currently one of the 4 "best" teams. If either Colorado upsets Washington or Penn State beats Wisconsin. Who's to say that Michigan isn't THE best 2 loss team in college football. Remember U of M beat Penn State 49-10. NOW, that makes it a possibility, albeit remote, that OSU and U of M could play for the National Championship.

Personally don't wanna go up against Michigan defense again lol. I'd take penn state again. Cause I know osu is plenty capable. But beating ttun twice would be tough. But I'd rather not play same team twice hopefully.

I'll take our D vs Bama's QB. I would like our chances. It's so easy to forget this team, the youngest roster in the America, are a compilation of wet behind the ears youngsters. I think they did a lot of growing up the late 3rd qtr. on, in the largest of stages, in a most impressive fashion. It's going to be fun to watch as these kids continue to mature and develop....they are going to be very, very good!......perhaps National Championship good, in the not so distant future.

The month off will be huge for OSU. A lot of nagging injuries and a young team that hasn't had a bye week since the week after Oklahoma. Mentally and physically this team has been on a grind....

I think the time off is going to be huge for preparation, healing and getting back fresh legs. Mentally, they have to be riding a wave of confidence at this point in time. The schedulers had to have a perverse approach to Ohio State last winter when setting up this seasons Big Ten Schedule. Back to back road games, both night games, against teams that had an extra week off to prepare for Ohio State was a little over the top. I can't imagine them pulling such a shenanigan two years in a row. If Harbaugh would have had such an injustice served on his team, he would have been crying and screaming at the top of his lungs.....lol

Ohio State currently plays nobody coming off a bye, although UNLV schedule isn't complete. Ohio State plays Penn St after the Bucks bye and most likely at night at the Shoe.

If Washington AND Clemson both win, NOTHING gets the Big Ten more than one team in the Four Team Playoff. Ohio State
If either wins by 60, like Ohio State did in 2014, the seeding could change.

Barring an upset of Alabama, Clemson or Washington this weekend, expect this weeks final four to remain intact and in the same order as this week. The only hope of Michigan, or the Wisconsin/Penn State winner have of slipping into the top four is an upset.
That being said, look forward to the Buckeyes hosting Clemson and Alabama hosting Washington.

If Wisconsin or Penn St wins convincingly, I think they should be in the top 4 over Washington. It probably won't happen but I think they are deserving.

Most are saying if everyone wins there will be no change. But I have to think there is still some movement that will happen.

Please Colorado, win Friday's Pac-12 Title game!
Should that happen, I think that about renders the Big Ten Title game meaningless. However, I won't totally discount a Wisky win/Barry Alvarez on the Selection Committee.

If Colorado wins and Wisconsin wins.....The Badgers will be the #4 seed and jump Michigan You could almost take that to the bank. Especially with B. Alvarez on the committee. But you can pretty much take to the bank, barring any upsets, the final four stays intact.

If Colorado wins and Wisconsin wins.....The Badgers will be the #4 seed and jump Michigan Which is possible because what I stated: Alvarez The committee could have made life much easier putting PSU/Wisky ahead of UM. They didn't, I think in part, because UM beat both, and they think UM is still better than both.

and then watch Bama beat the Badgers by 35 Hold the phone, we have been given a steady diet of how un-beatable Bama is all season. Heard much the same in 014 and you know how that worked out.

True, although Bama followed up with a beatdown to MSU. Between the 3, last year's MSU was better than this year's Big Ten reps.
