Let's hope Urban doesn't punch a Clemson if we lose to them again. If Ohio State and Alabama both win, How much would Alabama be favored by 20 or 30 ?

As of right now Bama would be favored by 8.5 over Buckeyes according to last interview RJ Bell gave on the topic.

Wasn't it a Clemson player that an Ohio State coach (Woody) punched many years ago ? And this is not 2014 anymore, Different teams. Alabama is much better now, than in 2014, And this years Ohio State team is too unpredictable, Beat a descent Nebraska team badly, Barely beat a bad Sparty team.

I wanted to know what A "Clemson" was.
You equate Woody's personality with that of Urban's??
How soon you forget. In 2014 OSU lost to a bad Va Tech, beat an average Penn State team in OT, beat a 5 loss Minnesota by 7.
Isn't the fact that you think Alabama looks so much better this year, has A LOT to do with how bad the SEC is this year? The polls usually have 7-8 SEC teams in their Top Ten, this year only Alabama.
AGAIN, what was Alabama favored by in 2014?

The extent of which his emotions were out of control, if an Ohio State player brushed by Harbaugh at a key moment in the game, nothing would surprise me.
No coach had greater love and respect from his players than Woody Hayes. We will forever remember him for the great person he was, not at his moment of weakness. God bless him.

My father took a course taught by Coach Hayes at OSU in the early 60's. Dad always said that Coach Hayes was a teacher first, then a coach - both on the field and off. His players respected him and everyone understood that his course was not a fluff class. You were there to learn and you were going to work.
Years later, no matter what class dad was teaching, or what sport he was coaching, dad always remembered that course and made the effort to apply what he learned from Coach Hayes.

The name was Charlie Bauman... and the end of an era for tOSU. I would rather he punched Dabo Sweeney.

That dark moment, I would prefer to leave in the past. Certainly, not the defining moment for this great man. The only thing that came from this was the obvious...it's time for this iconic coach to close the final chapter, it's time.

I recall reading that Woody was diabetic, didn't always eat well, particularly the day of the Clemson game, and some players speculated that had something to do with his behavior in that game. Regardless, it was a disappointing end to his coaching career.

Not sure who wins this one because I think both teams are pretty evenly matched up. OSU is young, Clemson should of had 2 losses and shouldn't even been in this discussion. I think OSU has the slight edge. I look for a game won by less than 10

Ohio State is 5-2 in the Fiesta Bowl and 0-2 vs Clemson all time Didn't the powers that be decide last year they weren't going to do the NYE playoff games after the ratings decline last year? Play the games on Friday the 30th.

Both playoff games are on NYE again this year. What they did was move the Orange Bowl to Dec 30 primetime and then move the playoff games times up an hour to 3 and 7 on NYE.

Losing Michael Jordan is a killer. It was obvious, Durbin over=corrected on his second kick.

Absolute garbage performance tonight, especially by the offensive line

The Buckeye defense can hold their heads up high, they played well tonight.
Offense is a total different matter. Explaining this one, where do you start?

Who would have thought that the Fiesta Bowl would end up being a bigger blowout than the Peach Bowl.
And for the first time in his entire head coaching career, Urban Meyer has been shut out.

Most assuredly, Urban will use this game as a central motivating theme for next season.

Woody Hayes was fired the next day. It's seem more of the same for J.T. Barrett. His backup is not great either.

Losing this game is easier to accept, Than really looking foolish against Alabama, next week. Hope Clemson wins, but doubt it.

I wouldn't lay this embarrassing performance on J.T. Barrett, or any individual on the offensive team. There will be a lot of shared blame to go around. Folks, this is not Ohio State football, no matter how you slice it and this one will cut deep with a lot of questions and answers.
Urban's response will be most interesting.

Hope Clemson did not shoot their wad vs OSU. All of bucks question marks were brutally exposed .....offensive line, no power rb, lack of adequate downfield passing game and poor fg kicking. Lots of opportunities for people to step up on the offensive side. Also, at times, have to question play calling . Confident Urban will take care of it. Michigan fans are gloating but at least we were there.

Just watched Urbans post game news conference again. That was one Po'd fb coach, IMO. Listen to what he said about passing game especially interesting. With about a month to prepare, question begs to be asked......was it the offensive game plan, play calling or just execution? JT says he will be back but Hooker is as good as gone IMO. Offense scored, I think, only 34 total points in regulation in last three games (not counting ot). Will be an extremely interesting off season. Clemson was and is very good...think they will beat bam if they dan slow down the horse Scarboro?
