Probably an invite Holiday showcase or nothing at all. A couple teams were going over to Wooster in the past.

Hoping I can get an all-day pass to get out of the house.

I have heard there are full day passes available. I would think a man of your stature could get one of them fairly easy.

I have been told from a Richland Source person, the main sponsor of this event, they are looking to continue this next season and beyond with local teams and simply change the name.

I'm sure that the new SBC would allow their members to continue this.

The first sentence was about the event. The second sentence was about your wife.

I'm sure that the new SBC would allow their members to continue this. From what I heard it is being looked at the be more of a local event matching Mansfield area teams against each other. it will no longer be a league v league event.

What I'm driving at is even with a change in their conference affiliations "local" teams will still be able to participate in this event.

Understood but what I was driving at is a league has no say in who a team schedules.

Local OCC teams vs local teams from other leagues that already play OCC teams as non-league opponents, at one venue on one day? If they wanted to, I could see several former NOL schools being interested. As many already play OCC schools. St.Petes and Galion could be possibilities if they want to up their schedule. Looking at St.Pete's schedule under Jakubick, they have already done so.

Local schools in the richland source coverage area playing each other at one venue.

I think you might have to go beyond the "area" to find many schools that would be willing to play Mansfield Senior, Ashland, Madison, Lex, Ontario and Shelby on a yearly basis. Since it will no longer be a league playing another league.

Clear Fork, Mansfield Chrsitian, Galion, Crestview, Lucas, Crestline, St Petes are all considered local and in the Richland Source area.

6 games at $6-$7 per game I would think you get a discount for all day. Maybe around $18-$20 seems logical.

11 a.m. Tiffin Columbian vs. Clear Fork
1 p.m. Bellevue vs. Madison
3 p.m. Norwalk vs. Mount Vernon
5 p.m. Shelby vs. Ashland
7 p.m. Ontario vs. Lexington
9 p.m. Sandusky vs. Mansfield Senior
The only NOL team I see winning is Sandusky and maybe Columbian.

I could see 4 good match ups on this day if teams play well, but I can see your point as well. I'll say the NOL will win more than 1 game, as you predict.

Clear Fork, Mansfield Chrsitian, Galion, Crestview, Lucas, Crestline, St Petes are all considered local and in the Richland Source area. REALLY??? The lucid question is how many on your list of 7 would be willing to play the 6 aforementioned? The issue that has not been pondered is that Lex, Senior, Madison and Ashland can't play each other as they are in the same league. As is the case with Christian, Lucas, Crestline, St.Petes and add Loudonville. Even if they were willing, who would pay money to see the smalls play the bigs? For this to continue with any success, some of the NEW SBCers would have to be up for it. The best that I could see happening is to add Ontario and Clear Fork or Galion to the 4 OCC schools and get the Southern most 6 NEW SBC schools, one of which would have to be Willard to match up with Clear Fork or Galion.

A few of these can be mixed around. Clear Fork and MC Mansfield and SP Lexington and Ontario Ashland and Shelby Madison and Galion
There are 5 games with very little thought. Try to solve a problem instead of disagreeing and things can work out.

That's only 5 one less than this year. How long will MC want to play Clear Fork? How long will St Pete's and Senior want to play? Who will want to watch a couple of those games?
I proffered a suggestion, just as worthy of consideration. It was there before yours, how is that arguing?? YOU would be the one arguing since you were 2nd. I forgot scooty must always be right. No one else can ever be right. He will attack or put down until his thought is the last one standing.

5 is better. No end in sight. Forever is a guess. Fans.
Actually I told you a local team event was being discussed by the main sponsor before you tossed in the school names. Don't think leagues, think location and fan support. RS is looking at their area of coverage.

I wouldn't worry about having it against the area. Find some good teams from the state and have them come in and play
